ISTV Imphal — channel being removed regularly from subscription even paid regularly | |||
Dear sir/madam, I have been subscribing to istv since 6 months and i have been paying regularly with rs300 monthly. My initial installation and setup had cost rs 7500. Now, your service is not regular and very bad. Your authority have been removing most important channels such as star groups of channel like star plus, star movies, colour tv, sony tv, istv plus, nick channel, zee tv etc. From the subscription without informing us even though we are paying rs 300 per month from konthoujam mamang leikai, langjing, imphal west area. This has been doing since 3 to 4 months but such bad and unprofessional behaviour is not doing in others imphal area such as singjamei, nagamapal etc. We are paying for watching nick, colour tv, zee tv and sony tv only but these all have been removed from service. This is a kind of thief in the service we purchased from you, you are doing only in my area as it is less developed area and so no one complains, but it couldn’t be done in imphal area. I don’t know what the operator think about the customers in these areas playing so cheaply and hurting consumer’s sentiments. Tell me why should i pay in future and why other person should buy this kind of service. My sincere request to higher management of the istv that kindly restore the service of the channel as promised during subscriptions as soon as possible and take strongest action to avoid such kind of interruption in your services. Same problem has been happening here in thoubal.. I have upgraded to Hd set top box with platinum package that is 500 rupees month but i got to see only 4 local channels and 3 hindi channel.. Many a times i have complain but we are helpless.. They are very regular in collecting their monthly fee but they never care the service they provide.. If there is any authority to monitor all these problem.. Pls do the needful.

I am a customer of istv since it was set up in Manipur. My location is lamphel Qtr. Under Telstar cable network. With the start of package system, your service become bad/worse in this area. I want uninterrupted service. Even I am ready for your monthly collection, the collector is irregular for the collection and this in turn effects my signal. What I want is, whether the collector come to collect monthly fees or not don't interrupt my signal, I am always ready for the fees. While complaining also they even don't pick up their phone. What to do or where to complain. Monthly wise calling and sicking for the signal is a bad idea, the collector must know his consumer, who are regular and who are not regular in payment. This complain is because I am not receiving signal even giving information to the caretaker/collector of this area from 7th November, 2019 till date.
