Dear sir/maam,
I m a subscriber of istv for longtime. Suddenly without prior notifications the LOC service provider has completely stopped giving istv service( which is against the cable network rules/act) as The reason being they had form new network service different from Istv.
So I would like to know whether istv will arrange to restore our connection free of cost or refund my HD connection charge rs 2200/ as the present situation outcome is not resulted from our fault or discrepancies.
Kindly reply ASAP so not to escalate the matter to consumer forum manipur.

So please solve out this issue, is this issue related to subscribing your full hd package then informed so that i discontinue your service. It total useless.

I am a customer from Elangbam leikai under Vinod cable service... We not not able to get all the HD channels even paying for₹320... May we know the reason behind this problem ???

The channel cartoon network, pogo, hungama, Disney channel, etc are not available in our setturbox

Our local service provider cannot be contacted properly..many a time his mobile is switched off

ISTV is a big channel subscriber in the state of Manipur but taking advancetace of state electricity, being a big chennel dustributor in the state, are they not able to provide any kind of generator that may help to solve the cistormers problem in time before complain ...

May I know the reason why recharge not done and instead of it they are threating us and make us run again and again.

Dear Sir,
in my village there are around or more than 100 ISTV subscriber in the village. But it's more than 1 month that we only keep watching only ISTV Chanel we didn't get any other channels like HBO, ZEE CINEMA, etc, if it goes on like this all the village will stop subscribing ISTV channel. I hope u will do something in this situation as soon as possible.

On opening the setup box.in the tv screen it shows ota upgrade, downloading upto 100. What can i do for it, to open up the channel, now i have put on my tv for around 6 hours.

I've repaired and paid the monthly amount But the screen shows "No authentication" in every channel. I've called the cable client Mr. Surjit Rajkumar and he replied after 3 days of frequent missed calls. He talked very hesitatingly and asked me to tell the signal no. And disconnected the call. Then he blocked my number. Actually It's a a shamefull thing for a popular network like istv to keep such rude clients. And the istv office number didn't pick the call either.

Local service provider incharge of keishamthong elangbam leikai, khabam lakpam mandop, imphal west has taken away our hd setup box to get it repaired as connection was not working. Since then be has never return the box back and never fix our cable. I have made several request by meeting him when he came to my neighbours for monthly cable fees collection. Its from january and ow almost 3 months. Kindly review my issue and try to resolve it at the earliest or kindly refund my security so that i can have other network connection. I have been subscribing to istv since 6 months and i have been paying regularly with rs300 monthly. My initial installation and setup had cost rs 7500. Now, your service is not regular and very bad.
Your authority have been removing most important channels such as star groups of channel like star plus, star movies, colour tv, sony tv, istv plus, nick channel, zee tv etc. From the subscription without informing us even though we are paying rs 300 per month from konthoujam mamang leikai, langjing, imphal west area. This has been doing since 3 to 4 months but such bad and unprofessional behaviour is not doing in others imphal area such as singjamei, nagamapal etc. We are paying for watching nick, colour tv, zee tv and sony tv only but these all have been removed from service. This is a kind of thief in the service we purchased from you, you are doing only in my area as it is less developed area and so no one complains, but it couldn’t be done in imphal area. I don’t know what the operator think about the customers in these areas playing so cheaply and hurting consumer’s sentiments. Tell me why should i pay in future and why other person should buy this kind of service.
My sincere request to higher management of the istv that kindly restore the service of the channel as promised during subscriptions as soon as possible and take strongest action to avoid such kind of interruption in your services. Also kindly take action against the operator doing such thing.

Hello, i m from mayankhang senapati district, manipur.. Today technician came & told us that let me take ur machine & check in neighbor house bcoz his machine is having problem wr gave the machine but he took the machine & didn't came back when i called him he used offensive words... Only problem was that during nov, dec & mid january there were no connection for a single day but they were asking the money for that, so we decided not to give... Without channel who will pay for it... Is this how they treat to the customers... If yes then f. Ck their connection.. We need our 3000 rupees advance money back... No offense

Due to some reason my connection is not working. I have reached out to office couple of time regarding the same. The technician told me he will be coming in the evening of 7 of this month. So far no one came to resolve the issue and more over there is no customer care number so that we reached to them. Please look into the issue for the goodwill of the company.

ISTV Imphal is broadcasting DTH Channels illegally and looting the public with its huge rental of Rs. 200/month. According to its service a rental of Rs. 200 is a very huge amount.

The only service worth watching is the local news. Even the news is without any quality and sometimes its more like the service is just to collect revenues from the Ads before and frequently during the news. Pronounciation and spellings (scrolling text below) makes the News even worst. It being the only visual News service we are forced to watch.

Is there any law/authority to judge their service and rentals to enjoy a lawful service at a reasonable rental ?
