Not able to provide classes

I started with Jamboree for offline classes and could not continue it offline so I asked them to shift it to online and its been more than a month they are not able to do that and I am suffering with my GMAT preparations, I want them to refund my fees back...

I joined Jamboree for giving up Ielts exam I had a dream of pursuing my masters in US were I gave up ielts exam and got a nominal score and they appointed a guide Were the problem started he doesn't know the last date of the colleges selected. I filled 3 application form on my own it took around 3.5 months to fill out the application form and he didn't help me in any way. I am naive about filling a American college website my guide will be very irresponsible while filling the form somehow Many times I complained about my guide but the instiuite didnt take any Step .I applied for Visa process and my Visa got Refused under 241 (b) section I tried to call my guide and he is telling that it's your problem I can't do anything Finally I didn't get my Visa approved I wasted 1 year by trusting them

    Hi Sir,
    I enrolled for consultancy program from Jamboree.
    I was told at the initial stages that I am very late for enrolling to this program and I need to hurry up. I was informed that LOR’s and SOP’s have to be written asap. But after I enrolled on 9th oct, nothing has really changed. I received disclaimer after I paid which is absolutely wrong. The counsellor who took my free conselling gave wrong assumptions. It was promised to provide the list of colleges in 7 working days which is not fulfilled. I was scolded by my counsellor on the 2nd day after receiving low marks in mock test which is not acceptable. I yesterday had a conversation with Mr. Manish who took my payment and he said jamboree can return the money if I have a valid point. I had put up a mail on 1st November stating my problems and asking for a refund. A conference call was made where Aparna Srivastva was talking as rudely as she could and laughed at me on not understanding things as if I am a DUMB. i am being forced to provide a candidate to transfer my services as no refund is possible. I even gave her an option which she clearly denied. This is just not the way to go through a process. The shortlisting is also not unto the mark as per me. According to Aparna she validates that if I have a valid point. How can she validate my point. Its not a small amount. Its my request to you that if you could help me get my refund as I am not satisfied with the services provided. Its my right to ask for it. Everyone is just forcing me for continuing the service but its about my future. And there is so much negativity in your system which you are not aware about.

      Refund for GRE enrollment

      I have not attended a single class which started today (20/08/2022) due to family emergency and informed 1 day prior as well. Jamboree is not returning a single penny stating they don't have refund policy. This is not acceptable as not even a single class was offered. They are charging a hefty fee of 24000 and that also without receipt. Some portion can be deducted, but i am loosing the whole money now.

      Jamboree is into education...

        I joined the Gmat program and wanted to switch. I keep calling coaching counselors, they don't pick up calls or respond, and when they do.they always come up with excuse and promise to get word done asap but again it's the same cycle

          Extremely poor service

          I had enrolled for Gmat tutoring classes. I had started initially for offline classes but due to covid they got halted for 3 weeks.After that they asked me to go for Online Coaching for the SAME AMOUNT OF FEES THAT WAS 40 THOUSAND RUPEES.. In online coaching they did not provide proper classes. Teachers provide just the answers but no proper explanation. Some how i managed to study on my own and practiced a lot of questions but at the time...

          I am Oj Gupta, I submitted the fees for SAT and IELTS course but attended only one SAT demo lecture. I do not plan on giving the SAT exam, so I did not avail for that service and asked for a refund for the SAT fees. I Will be doing only the IELTS course, so deducting that amount from the fees I submitted, I need the rest of it back.           I enrolles for the gmat online comprehensive course. Before enrollment, I was told that this course will be similar to Jamboree's live course, just the difference would be, in live course they will provide live classroom session and in online course we will be given with recorded sessions similar to live classes. But after making the payment, classes I got are just conceptual videos which are not similar to live classes in any way. These videos are just basic concepts which are widely available at free of cost at various platforms.
          Then what is the meaning of writing "mirror classes to Jamboree's live classes"
          If they consider these are mirror classes to live classes, then I doubt the quality of content taught in live classes.
          After talking to the contact person who make me enroll for the course that I'm not getting the content as promised they asked me to switch to the higher course and said that we never advise ro take "Online gmat comprehensive course" to anyone.
          But before enrollment, they ensured me there will be no difference in the classes. These are just mirror classes. But it doesn't turn out this way.
          I feel cheated by the staff (Hudson line, New Delhi branch) of the Jamboree who did not provide me the complete details of the course which is their responsibility and lied about the so called mirror classes. And when complained they said this course is not suitable for you and we never advise for this course and asked me to enroll for the higher course which is double the price of the existing online course.

            I am subscribed to Jamboree's online gmat course, but since 1 week I am not able to login to my portal and the centre head of HSR, Bangalore, has stopped picking my calls. My subscription is valid till Jan 8th 2022. And my exam is in a month! I was heavily depending on Jamboree material and study plan, this is ruining my preparation, please fix the issue fast.

              I have enrolled as a student for SAT Subject prep courses at Jamboree Education (Indira Nagar Branch, Bangalore, India). But the exam got canceled by the CollegeBroard (A worldwide exam conducting platform) before even I properly attended the offline classes I enrolled for at their institute. I asked them for a refund patiently as I attended ONLY ONE offline class I enrolled for, which they failed to give initially. After three-four stressful visits with my parents and talks with company officials over the phone, they gave me a refund of 25000 out of 45000 for just attending one class out of the entire year enrolment. They failed to give the remaining refund of 20000 after requesting. Which is not fair on their part. I would request them to make the pending refund as soon as possible.

              The complainant, Shreeja CS, enrolled with Jamboree Education, Indira Nagar center, Bengaluru on 29 February 2020 for SAT Subject Test (Math-LII) & SAT Subject Test (Physics). She paid INR 45, 000 for the same. It is to be noted that we also gave a discount of INR 11, 000 that is INR 5500 for each subject at the time of her enrolment.

              Shreeja’s classes began on 7 March 2020. She attended 1 class at the center in person. Thereafter the pandemic hit and we had to convert all our physical classes into live online mode throughout India. The complainant started her live online classes with us on 22 March and went on to attend 5 to 6 live online classes with her respective faculties, the Whatsapp correspondence of which we have attached.

              It may be known that each SAT Subject Test class has 8-10 classes out of which, the complainant attended a minimum 3 of each (worth INR 16, 000 excluding 18% GST). In addition to the classes, we gave the complainant study material worth INR 1100. After attending the said classes and taking the study material, the complainant decided not to continue with us.

              She and her parent then came to the center and asked for a refund. Normally, we do not have a refund policy and students on enrolment sign a form that states ‘fees once paid is non-refundable’. But given the unprecedented pandemic situation and also SAT Subject Test cancellation by the College Board, we decided to give a refund of INR 25, 000 after deducting the charges for the classes attended and the study material disbursed (INR 20, 000).

              But the complainant and her parent are not satisfied and want a full refund of INR 45, 000 which is completely unjustified. It may also be noted that the complainant has conveniently omitted the live online classes that she attended and the study material that we gave, in the consumer forum complaint statement. Kindly take cognizance of this fact.

              In conclusion, we have already gone out of our way to do the maximum that we can and there is no valid ground for any further refund.

                Terrible instructors who can't be relied upon for course advice. They're just there trying to get your money. But afterwards, they won't care how you perform.

                  I had taken admission for 3-months GRE course with your institute by paying an amount Rs.22, 000/- on 8th December 2018.

                  I was assured during admission that I would be taught mathematics from the very basic level, but the classes taught were of very higher level. I found difficulty in following the same without clarification of fundamentals. And unfortunately, I could not continue after attending only two beginning classes of each subject.

                  As it has already been two years of enrollment, I therefore request you to kindly refund the fee after deducting applicable charges for classes attended.

                  We have called and mailed Kolkata, Hazra centre many times, but they are yet to respond. One of the staff members named, Mr.Aunava has been dealing with this matter, but is of no help. He has been delaying the matter intentionally stating that they need permission from their Head office to process the refund. However, when we contacted Delhi Head office, they said they have not received any request like that from Kolkata office.

                    I've recently joined Jamboree education for my GMAT preparation from Ahmadabad centre. Firstly there was issue of sending the books by courier, any how it is now sent through speed post. But I am not able to play the recorded videos and this I have already acknowledged to my centre coordinator but I am not getting any response.Now the Coordinator is also not picking up my phone. (Money) Is this the only thing the Coaching wants ? and does not cares after that???

                      Delivery of book for the IELTS General Course

                      I joined on 8th march and took only 3 classes.Because of pandemic they are not able to take classes. I had paid them 24000 only for physical classes.They had told me that classes will start in May incase it does not start they will refund me but they are not responding now.

From the 4 to 5 month I am calling them for my money I have submitted 15000 and have not joined the batches and fur to some family problem my plans cancelled and know they are not giving my money back...                         I enrolled with the jamboree counselling services in the month of august. They charged me a lofty sum of 75, 000 for the same. But a few months from then, i couldn't continue with the admission process, owing to my health conditions. I asked whether they could help me with the refund or the extension of services. But they gave me a clear denial of help....

                        I signed up for Jamboree in September 2017 for the GMAT class at the Dadar centre but was unable to give the exam due to my work hours (investment banking). Subsequently in January 2019, I signed up again having had a great experience the last time. I was asked to pay INR 28, 000 for both Verbal and Quant and was given a discount having signed up little over a year back where i had paid INR 35, 000 (full amount). While I attended the maths classes by Rohit Mishra, the verbal classes were not upto the mark and did not add much value due to an inexperienced faculty member which forced me to look outside for help and delayed my exam. I have now moved to Bangalore and requested the centre head, Alena on May 11 whether it was possible to shift to the Online live class (the nearest centre is ~20 km away). Having taken over a month to respond after me calling every week, I was informed today I would have to pay a differential of INR 7, 000 despite of paying an amount judged as the FULL FEES 5 months ago.

                        The centre is now avoiding my calls. This extremely disappointing from an otherwise renowned classes provider. I will ensure people know about my bad experiece through social media and other internet media.

                          I am filing this complaint with the intention of getting a solution.

                          Firstly, i would strongly recommend others not to consider jamboree as an option for ielts coaching at all because they will not make you waste your money but also the time. I don't know about other centres but jamboree - faridabad is the worst.

                          Can you imagine the teachers who themselves can't speak fluent english are giving classes. Moreover they are highly unprofessional. I spent my 9000 bucks now have the biggest regret of my life. Specifically teachers are not at all co-operative. The time of the class was 10:00 to 1:00 and i used to be in the class at 9:55 so that i could not miss anything. But she used to come at 10:30. Moreover asked us to do a task and used to leave the class. It was me who usually went out and asked her to come in the class. No basics, no tricks, no techniques and not even a discussion after completing the task was done.
                          Management (Senior counsellor) : i raised the complain about that teacher to the management and the counselor added fuel to the fire. Instead of taking the feedback they asked me to co-operate and said that we are working this way since 7 years and while giving the feedback the teacher was in front of me and she said that you should not ask doubts or questions. (I was like dude i have paid money to get the answers). This was the attitude towards students of that teacher as well as the management. Instead to correcting things that counsellor made things worse.

                          I thought may be i was the only one who is facing this but when i talked to other students of other batches, i came to know that those people were going through similar situation and they were just not going forward to raise there point.

                          Jamboree is just a dark spot in name of education. They are literally playing with our money and future. I believe the whole management is at fault who can't even keep a check on their teachers.
                          I asked that counsellor to sit in one class and then tell me whether i was right or wrong but she was least interested in improving things.

                          I used to wait for additional 1 hr so that she can take my speaking session of 10 mins. The teacher was like i need to take lunch of 30 mins and then for 30 mins i will relax and if you can wait till 2 then i can take the speaking of 10 mins.

                          What kind of teacher is this who can't take out 10 mins to help a student. Hatts off to jamboree for this.
                          I am highly demotivated and dissatisfied with jamboree (Such a brand). It is brand just for name.

                          I will surely escalate my complain to social media as well. I won't let jamboree have fun on our money.

                          Waiting for a solution, if not got then i would be forced to raise the complaint against jamboree's complain centre as well.
