I am filing this complaint with the intention of getting a solution.

Firstly, i would strongly recommend others not to consider jamboree as an option for ielts coaching at all because they will not make you waste your money but also the time. I don't know about other centres but jamboree - faridabad is the worst.

Can you imagine the teachers who themselves can't speak fluent english are giving classes. Moreover they are highly unprofessional. I spent my 9000 bucks now have the biggest regret of my life. Specifically teachers are not at all co-operative. The time of the class was 10:00 to 1:00 and i used to be in the class at 9:55 so that i could not miss anything. But she used to come at 10:30. Moreover asked us to do a task and used to leave the class. It was me who usually went out and asked her to come in the class. No basics, no tricks, no techniques and not even a discussion after completing the task was done.
Management (Senior counsellor) : i raised the complain about that teacher to the management and the counselor added fuel to the fire. Instead of taking the feedback they asked me to co-operate and said that we are working this way since 7 years and while giving the feedback the teacher was in front of me and she said that you should not ask doubts or questions. (I was like dude i have paid money to get the answers). This was the attitude towards students of that teacher as well as the management. Instead to correcting things that counsellor made things worse.

I thought may be i was the only one who is facing this but when i talked to other students of other batches, i came to know that those people were going through similar situation and they were just not going forward to raise there point.

Jamboree is just a dark spot in name of education. They are literally playing with our money and future. I believe the whole management is at fault who can't even keep a check on their teachers.
I asked that counsellor to sit in one class and then tell me whether i was right or wrong but she was least interested in improving things.

I used to wait for additional 1 hr so that she can take my speaking session of 10 mins. The teacher was like i need to take lunch of 30 mins and then for 30 mins i will relax and if you can wait till 2 then i can take the speaking of 10 mins.

What kind of teacher is this who can't take out 10 mins to help a student. Hatts off to jamboree for this.
I am highly demotivated and dissatisfied with jamboree (Such a brand). It is brand just for name.

I will surely escalate my complain to social media as well. I won't let jamboree have fun on our money.

Waiting for a solution, if not got then i would be forced to raise the complaint against jamboree's complain centre as well.

We have taken a dinner in jungle jamboree cp restaurant & they charges cgst, sgst, service taxes as well as vat charges which are illegal & unauthorized when we have fight for this so they give excuses & not given hard copies of bills but i have soft copy
So i request you please lookout on this for clients benificiary because restaurants are charges double taxes on behalf of gst

I am writing this to complain about the the teaching methods followed in jamboree sector 62 noida. I am highly dissatisfied from jamboree. I wanted to take ielts coaching for general module for pr. And my band requirement is 8 or 9. I have already appeared for ielts exam before i scored 6. So i joined this coaching to get higher bands. Below are the points i want to mentions :
1) when i called first time in jamboree i asked for the trail class but your staff said there is no trail class we provide.
Then i joined this class on 1st of july first day teacher just asked us to open book and do reading and she went out of the classroom then they came back after 1 hour or more then she asked for the answer how many are right after that she told some tips we should do and we shouldnt do. Already so much time was spent on this so we were left with only 30min she asked one random question to everyone for a speaking session n told the dos n donts.
2) another day she just turned the speaker on n told us to do listening and went out again. Firstly listening is not done on speakers as its not audible and its hard to concentrate. Then again she came back and asked for how many are correct to everyone and maximum people ended up missing so many questions. Then she asked to open books and asked to do writing essay by telling the structure. We wrote a essay then she came after 1 hour and asked us to read it and she said yeah that ok all she was focusing on is content.
I firmly believe that this is not the way of teaching ielts.
3) firstly for listening it should strictly be done using headphones and then she should tell us how to avoid mistakes how to crack that words.
4) secondly for reading its not enough to tell the strategies one should tell how to follow that how should we read how shlould we crack and giving 1 hour of time just to do reading in class is not thr right way better we should do it home and she should tell how to find answers quicklu and how to write it as in ielts one extra word loose your marks.
And evrytime new student comes one hour is wasted again on repeating that strategies.
5) thirdly, according to her there is no need to use vocabulary in writing. And when i asked to makes us understand conjunction connectors where to put how to join sentences she said everything is availble online read it i[censored] dont understand ask me. And speaking sessions are not done properly as well.
In conclusion i want your organisation to consider my point and take some action i have taken only 3 classes and i dont want to take anymore this is just a wastage of time. I asked other students as well they are facing same propblems and people who came for trail class they were complaining about jamboree ielts and they haven't joined as well. I am higly dissatisfied. I want a refund of my fee. I cannot waste my money and my time for this kind of coaching. Nobody else is satisfied either there. I have to give exam in next month. Please this is the request your organisation to refund my money back. Worst coaching ever

Do not join Jamboree for counselling ever. Most ridiculous counselors, who do not understand what you are asking for. Even when escalated to higher level, same response and no improvement in quality of assistance. Even though I had taken counselling the university that I got admit from was the one for which I applied on my own with self written SOP and LORs, which means their counselling did not work at all. I did not take coaching so the main reason why I joined because of the counselling which turned out to be a headache for me. It would have been better for me and even for future students to rather got to Edulix, post on profile evaluations and gather data from there. You will get most realistic and up todate data from there without wasting your time on this kind of duped theme.

I registered (by paying lumpsum Rs 27000/-) with the Maharani Bagh Branch of Jamboree (in 2006) for assistance and some expert advise on US University application process. They made huge promises at the time of registration and told me that my GRE score (400 verbal and 690 quantitative) and TOEFL (107/110) score were satisfactory, so getting an admission to at least one US University will not be a problem if application is sent to at least 7 US Universities. They vowed to help me with SOP's but what they gave me were plagiarized SOP's with no sign of originality and no intelligent advise on the SOP's I prepared myself. Similarly they bungled with the recommendation letters. As expected, I got rejection letters from all 10 US universities. They never called me even once during the whole process. When I sent them the email regarding their sloppiness and told them to refund my application fee, they refused. This is the height of loot and fraud. Please help... -- Rishamdeep Singh

I had a very bad experience at Jamboree, Chandigarh. Teachers were Ok. But the study material was worst. There were no mock exams for practise. Infact they are doing COPYRIGHTS INFRINGEMENT by using kaplan, princeton tests , using them for commercial use. Those too were of very old format and very few in no. When I asked them about "Jamboree mock". They said those are available in delhi centre. To add it when I put all this on their facebook page so that they look into the matter instead of responding to me, they deleted my complaint and removed me from the page
