Jeeves Consumer Services — Mobile repair under complete protection plan

Complaint Title: Deficiency in Service by Jeeves Consumer Services – Handset Not Repaired

Complaint Details:
I purchased a Complete Protection Plan for my handset from Jeeves Consumer Services. I submitted my handset for repair on 12-July-2025, but even after more than one month, the handset has neither been repaired nor returned.

Despite repeated follow-ups, I have not received any proper response or update from Jeeves Customer Care. This amounts to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Relief Sought:

Immediate repair and return of my handset OR a replacement/refund as per the terms of the protection plan.

Compensation for the inconvenience, harassment, and losses caused due to delay.

This is to place on record my strong objection to the way Flipkart/Jeeves have handled my complaint.

Without resolving my grievance or even taking my consent, the company has unilaterally closed my case on the portal.

This act reflects a highly irresponsible, unprofessional, and unethical approach towards consumers.

Instead of honoring the repair/replacement commitment under the protection plan, Jeeves offered me an arbitrary half refund, which is nothing less than cheating and breach of trust.

Flipkart, being the platform seller and service provider, has shown complete apathy towards consumer rights and has attempted to wash its hands off by closing the case forcefully.

Such behavior causes loss of faith in Flipkart’s services, damages the brand reputation, and shows how little the company values its customers once payment is made.

My Stand:

I outright reject the closure of this complaint.

I demand a proper resolution – repair of my handset or replacement if repair is not possible.

I also request NCH to take note of the malpractice and disregard of consumer rights by Flipkart and Jeeves.

If this continues, I will be compelled to escalate this matter legally before the District Consumer Commission and also highlight this issue publicly so that no other customer suffers the way I did.

This unfair handling has already created a very bad reputation for Flipkart/Jeeves, and I will make sure this case is not silenced without justice.
