Jhankar Electronics — Unethical behaviour
Dear concern, I visited the shop to get the replacement of a mobile set of NOKIA on 3rd instant. I gave him the set for the replacement on 11th July along with the battery. On the 3rd he showed me a set in a small plastic cover that came against replacement. He told me that as per company policy, the company(NOKIA) has sole discretion which set to be given and I cannot choose a set. I wanted to take a different set and I told that I would pay the price difference. I took the set from the shop on the 6th April 2015 and I gave the set for replacement on the 11th July. The gap is mere 3 months. Moreover, I took the set for my Mother. So I thought of not taking the same sort but a better one. Then I asked about the battery. He replied that the person, whom he had delivered the set for service, he might have forgotten to return the battery. Now he took out a battery from someone's replacement box and offered me the same stating that this is a new one, there is no scratch. I denied to take that battery. When I told him why should I take someone's battery then suddenly he came into a loggerhead and told me if I am sick physically or mentally. I was just astonished how a shop owner could speak in such a rough and insulting manner with a customer. Without a second thought, I left the place. In the meantime, I arranged the name and address of the distributor through whom they send defective mobile handsets to NOKIA service center and the details is mentioned below: R K Teleservices Pvt. Ltd. 53-B Mirza Ghalib Street Kolkata - 700016 N.B. Please find the attached bill copy of Jhankar Electronics herein. Thanks & Regards, Bishwajit Podder Was this information helpful?
