I am a Jio customer for the last 2 years or more. I am observing for the last 1.5 years, the the internet speed provided by Jio in my area has deteriorated over time. The current speed can be compared to upgraded 2G speed. Jio had promised seamless internet connection from the time of its inception. It was true in the early days of its launch.
I had complained several times to Jio and everytime I had got false assurances. It is really a matter of concern that despite several complains the Company does not pay any attention to our issues.
The company has itself admitted that there is severe limited coverage issue in my area and that the problem can be solved only by new site installation in my vicinity( SERVICE REQUEST No. SR00000VZGYY through National Consumer Helpline.) They asked for 90 days time and assured that the problem will solved by 4th june, 2019. However, to my dismay nothing was done. Now, even the signal has started fluctuating continuosly. I again complained to Jio through National Consumer Helpline quoting SR00000VZGYY and this time they stated that though site location in my locality is a must, but they are not in a position to instal a site in my locality. They even denied to state any tentative deadline to solve this issue.
My question to your highly esteemed office are as follows:
1. Why should I be deprived of seamless internet connectivity?
2. If Jio knows that there limited coverage in my area for quite long time, why had not they taken concrete action even before I lodged the 1st complain?
3. How can they commit seamless connectivity in my area and then turn down the proposal?
4. If I am paying for 4G connectivity why have I to remain satisfied with upgraded 2G connection?
5.Can I get a permanent positive resolution immediately and a deadline?
I would request your high office to look into this matter with utmost importance and compel Jio to take drastic steps to solve the issue immediately.
