I ordered a Lifelong 1.5L 1500W Stainless Steel electric kettle from the JioMart app recently. Because I received the damaged product, I placed the return request in the app and uploaded relevant photos and videos. But my return request was rejected with the reason that the customer representative couldn't reach me via phone. Now the app does not have the option to raise the return request again. I called customer care more than 10 times regarding this issue but I was asked to wait & wait and did not provide any resolution. Finally, I heard from them that once the return request is rejected then again a new request can NOT be placed.
How can the return request be rejected for the damaged product after uploading the photos and videos? If I'm not reachable via phone, they should have contacted me via email/WhatsApp to take the consent from me. I think I'm not alone who facing this kind of issue. Being a reputed big company, Jiomart is making the customers fool. We should raise a voice against these kind of incidents otherwise the company will NOT respect customers concerns.
