Yesterday (9-feb-20) i bought a dark brown cake (1kg) from poorvikas eatout arekere hulimavu, bangalore. My son's b'day is today 10th feb. So i asked them whether the cake is fresh. Looking at it, i was suspicious as it doesnt look fresh. There were 2 guys in the shop, i asked both of them. They said its fresh & received only this morning ie., 9th. But today the cake was not at all good. Pls note i'm regular cutomer of just bake & i have tasted this dark brown cake multiple times. So i know how exactly this cake tastes. After a bit of googling, i came to know that expiry date is mentioned underneath, when i saw the expiry was yesterday itself. So they have cheated me inspite of repetedly asking. I called the shop few mins back... They are aking me to come to the shop with the cake sample... The problem is my house is in jigani office is in marthahalli & the shop is in hulimavi. These are 3 different points of a triangle and the distance is 20 - 30 kms for each. The shop guys are bit rude when i asked for the refund. Pls note, if i have to go to the shop in my car from my house it will easily take 1:30 mins to 2 hr based on the traffic also i have to spend about rs. 500 on petrol for the car.
