Just Dial Limited — Nationwide Fraud Alert: Justdial's Fake Lead Scam of 12,741 Against Small Businesses

I am writing to formally raise a grievance regarding the deficient services and unfair trade practices experienced by my firm, Fixitindia Decor (Pune), at the hands of Just Dial Limited.

1. Misleading Inducement during Onboarding:
The company's sales executive, Mr. Vivek Kumar, boarded my business into their premium 'Top 5 Package' by explicitly promising a monthly delivery of 30 to 40 fresh, high-intent, and genuine business leads. I was assured that if the leads failed to materialize as promised, a full refund would be processed. During the final onboarding process, the executive handled my personal mobile phone to navigate through the digital agreement interfaces himself, only handing it back to me at the final moment to input the payment credentials.

2. Delivery of Defective and Irrelevant Services:
Upon the activation of the package, the platform completely failed to provide relevant consumer data. Instead of genuine business inquiries for decor, I was provided with junk and obsolete leads, including calls from individuals looking for AC repair services, loan inquiries, job placements, or individuals residing entirely outside my functional geographical boundaries.

3. Legitimate Cessation of Auto-Debit (ECS):
On 10th May 2026, finding the service entirely non-functional, I requested Senior Executive Mr. Shiv Kumar Mahajan via WhatsApp to halt my ECS mandate and process a refund, which was unheeded. On 11th May 2026, I contacted their official helpline ([protected]), and the support desk flatly refused to stop the auto-debit internally from their end. To safeguard my account against unauthorized ongoing financial deductions for a non-delivered service, I exercised my lawful right as a bank account holder to instruct my banking institution to pause the auto-debit mandate.

4. Evasion and Sudden Denial of Redressal:
When confronted in writing on 12th May and 20th May regarding the refund commitments, the senior executive never denied making the verbal assurance and systematically evaded the matter by stating "ok sir monday ko milta hu" and "milta hu sir". Now, the company has sent a rigid email denying the refund altogether by relying on hidden 'non-refundable' clauses.

Furthermore, the company is attempting to manipulate corporate compliance data on public grievance frameworks by repeatedly opening, closing as "Resolved", and reopening my ongoing ticket within minutes without providing any factual resolution.

Prayer:
As a small micro-enterprise operating within the lawful framework of this country, I request the management of Just Dial Limited to acknowledge this genuine grievance, review the official telephonic recordings and verified text transcripts, and process a full refund of ?12, 741.
