Today the 30th of December 2015, I purchased bangles for my wife, Laxmi Shah from your branch at Karama Center worth DHS. 8100. The bill was made in my wife"s name Laxmi Shah. The staff at Kalyan Jewellers cheated me today. 22K Gold rate had changed after 8:00 PM from DHS. 122.25 to 121.00 per gram Still they invoiced me at DHS. 122.25, , whereas the rate at all the other jewellers had changed by 08:15 PM. I had gone back to Kalyan Jewellers to complaint, but they ignored my complaint. This sort of cheating was never expected from such a reputed jewellers. I later went again, but your staff were not bothered. It was very shocking to see such a reputed jewellers having such cheater staffs

    Sir, I bought a gold chain at kalyan jewellers three months ago two days back i got a phone call the guy who is talking the call said that "mam congratulations you won a prize of one gram gold we conducted a lucky draw your number was selected please come to kalyan jewellery which was situated in tnagar in chennai dont forgot to bring the gold chain and the bill paper" i was confused because he is asking to come with gold chain also then i contacted the kalyan jewelers shop at t-nagar the official said that " totally it is a spam we didnt conduct any lucky draws" im asking that if you guys are not conducted any lucky draw why that fellow called us as said u purchased a gold chain worth ***** rupees of bill no****** like that this shows how weak the security was they are spamming i want officials to take a proper action on them otherwise i will file a complaint on consumer court

      I am writing this comment regarding my last visit to your Palakkad Showroom on 23.12.15. I got very bad experience from your showroom officials when me and father entered in to your showroom to purchase one chain as a part of your gold saving scheme and also one short necklace.. Firstly your downstair staffs lead us to 2nd floor, then we have waited there for 20 minutes to get a counter staff. !!! few guys are told me " will attend you soon" but nothing happened !!! not have that much crowd that time..its 10.30 am only.. Then me and father demanded for response since we are not having any other option, bcoz we already paid around 20000 rupees .then while settling balance amount through debit card, your cashier named" Mr.Venkatesh" asked for my pin no, which should be kept confidential. But I refused to give pin no to him, then he shouted at me and to my father.He told us that " If you require the product give me the pin no" Then i asked why you are asking my pin no, then only he replied that card reading machine having loose connection.If the machine is having loose connection you must go for repair and should not ask for pin no. Also his behavior was very irritating.so after purchasing same we decided to leave from your premises with bad experience and gone to Malabar gold, where they are behaving very decently. We purchased from there. I will never opt for your shop and will not recommend to any one else. If you want to know how customer should be treated, just step into nearby showrooms. It will be a training session for you.

        I ordered a chain on Dec 28 2014, and as per their promise I can collect the ordered gold in Nov 2015. But as per schedule I must receive my product that is a marriagen chain on Nov 28. But now when I visited the shop they r saying they need more time, for this reason I can't postpone my marriage... They don't know the value of trust, I believe

        kalyan jewellers sold me cheap quality white gold which turns yellow after some mnths...actually rodium turns yellow after some mnths, bt they told me this is white gold and this never turns yellow

          Dear concern, In kakinada store no one is try to sell product to customer. They have only sit & sell product. There is no convincing skill from store manager & employees. I'm facing this on 25th Nov 15. I have prepared to purchase one ornament of chain, select & finalize one chain. There is small deference on making charge. They said 8%, I'm asking 6% they said just not possible to give & said your wish. No one has not try to convincing me. I'm waiting at 1 hour in the store but no one convince just leave the customer. I feel they don't need sale. If company need sale, please educate your employees from store manager onwards. Thank you..

            Kalyan jewellers ghatkopar monthly saving scheme is a total blunder and manipulated scheme run by the company as even before and after scheme maturity no one in the store has any idea of product which was ordered 3 months ago.The same problem has occured with my friends and colleague also, when asked for store incharge no one is ready yo take the responsibility, please suggest what is to be done

              Hi! My name is Sylviya. I work as a cabin crew. I mentioned that so you would know my judgement of service wont be fake.

              On the 26/05/2015 I had bought a set of diamond pendant with two studs and a diamond ring as my birthday present from one of your stores in Lootah building, Damuscus st, opp to Fortune Grand Hotel in al qusais II Dubai.

              Unfortunately I lost a lock for one of the studs. So i walked to the same store today 02/09/2015 expecting to buy a lock. On talking to one of the sales person i found out that he wants me to have the studs exchanged so i could get a lock. I told him its a set and i don't want to exchange it. So he further emphasised that i could get another set at a discounted price of 80%. Disgusted with his persuasiveness i asked to speak with the manager. This person had a even more careless attitude. He tells me he would give me managers discount. I mean how insane is that? They expect you to buy another set of diamonds coz u lost a lock for a stud. When i said that it didnt make any sense to me he tells me if i was ready to wait for 2-3 months he will "try" to get it for me from Bombay. Which courier company takes three months to send such a petty thing?
              Let me make this very clear i am bothered abt the money its the attitude i have a problem with. I fail to understand if its their reluctancy or a money making policy. Coz i honestly dont see the sense behind the continuous persuasion to buy another set for the clearly dont have any understanding of the sentiments that might be related to a purchase.
              I'm sure how much word of mouth matters for a company to flourish in a different country and i'm not in a position to be able to give any positive feedback after such an experience. I am highly disappointed and will discourage any purchase if approached. It seemed like a good reliable brand to me but am sorry it doesnt anymore.
              It will be equally disappointing to the images of the public figures you use for advertising because my factor for brand equity is really high.

                I am writing this comment regarding my last visit in your Calicut Showroom on 31.08.15. I got very bad experience from your showroom officials when me and father entered in your showroom to purchase one Ring. Firstly your downstair staffs lead us to 2nd floor (Rigns Section), then we have lost around 15 minutes for waiting your counter staffs !!! few guys are told me " will attend you soon" but nothing happened !!! was not have that much crowd that time. Then me and father decided to leave from your premises with bad experience. After, we purchased one ring from Tanishq(It is very near from your showroom).                   Sharing a terrible experience :- M.G. Road Branch, Kochi @ 4pm 10th August, Today ! I walk into your Store and face some extremely unfriendly Staff . Had a Bangle to be exchanged for some coins to use it as Gift for my friend's marriage this evening but the person refused to entertain my request . I asked him if that was the Policy since I had done a similar thing in your Trivandrum Branch last week ...he had no answer. He calls on one Joby ..who was equally unhelpful. To me, both these people do not deserve to be handling clients as their body language, posture and speech are intimidating ... poor ambassadors of your Brand ... Neither of them even bothered to see what was it that I wanted to exchange or even offered any alternatives / suggestions ... extremely rude ...you people must be doing really well in your business to ignore genuine customers like us.Please check your CCTV footage of today, i was in a white shirt and blue trouser ...adequately dressed and surely not warranting the treatment I received. You may be scaling new heights but I can assure you that with such overconfidence and lack of customer focus your downfall is sure to come ! Had walked in with high expectations to a Kalyan Store for the first time but have left terribly disappointed ..I guess the Bhima's and the Alukkaas are much better ..at least they greet you with a smile ! Will never come back and try to tell many more not to do so !! By the way ...from the response rate of your Complaints I see ..not very hopeful to receive any revert !!

                    My wife Deepa Murli purchased earrings from Kalyan Jewellers vashi on 5/8/2015 bill number VASGJC007239. The value addition on a small piece of earring is 22% . The jeweller is not mentioning making charges or wastage and simply adding 22% . Most jewellers charge 11 to 12 % . Also the salesman has asked her to take some insurance on a 3.86 gm jewellery. On a small earring a VC of 22% is ridiculous

Inefficient staff, very lazy and inactive.Had a worst experience, how many ever people come they should give equal importance, they did not have the courtesy to talk to the consumers, they made us wait literally for 40 mins.Bad service, lathargic staff.

In that we have bought a pair of stud which was mismatched pair, By mistake we didnt notice it for a month and we bought it for a gift. We went back to get the right pair after a month but unfortunately it was not there, we were ready to take some other pair and ready to pay some extra money for new pair of stud. But the manager and sales executive were keep on telling the procedure for the exchange and the period its been purchased. My complaint is that you have given mismatch pair wrongly and explaining about the exchange procedure by showing the no of days. we are not satisfied about the way they treated and the service of customer satisfaction.

                          I purchased a platinum chain from Kalyan jeweller Pune 8 months back. Since then my chain has broken three times, the quality of links are quite weak. When I take it to their store they keep the chain for 20-30 days saying they will send it to workshop and will repair it. But still it breaks and many of the times their Sales Person was rude saying you don't know how to handle it, u Pull it. Why will someone pull his own chain...? That are not sure of their quality but in advertisement they say they have three stage quality check. I am tired of their services and quality and now finally thinking of selling it.. Worst experience with Kalyan

                            I purchased a gold chain from your Thane store on 16.06.2015, as per bill No. THNGJB000942. The salesman at the counter told me that the chain purchased from your store will be covered by insurance free of charges. He never told me that the premium will be charged to me. He showed me the price calculations where the word 'insurance' was not at all mentioned. He showed me a print out of the bill, where the final amount was Rs.18, 110/-. Then I paid the bill by a debit card. Then the chain was handed over to me and bill was given in an envelope. Since I had already seen the bill, I did not open the envelope. After coming home I opened the envelope. To my utter surprise, the bill therein was not the same which I had seen in the store. In the new bill the final amount was Rs.17, 976/-. The next day I again visited your store and met the same salesman. When asked, he said the balance amount was the insurance premium. He also said that he had explained to me that the insurance would charged to me. By the time 3-4 other salesmen also gathered there and all of them supported him, though none of them was present when the deal was going on. I would like to mention here that once the bill mount is paid and the gold is handed over to the customer, your responsibility is over. It is the customer's responsibility how to deal with it. If at all required, he himself can do anything to protect it. Your help is not at all required to insure the gold purchased. This sort of crooked play and acting ignorance thereafter will not bring any good name to your store. This may be perhaps the first blow to your new branch I would highly appreciate receiving a proper explanation in this matter. V.N. Unnikrishnan Nair.

                              I Enrolled in their monthly purchase advance scheme where you deposit a fixed monthly amount and by the end you get any product at a discount of that value. Upon going to the store on the 8th month, i was told that i cannot select anything from the store, and only from some booklet which they showed. This above term is not mentioned in their terms & condition on the letter i got from them when i started this scheme.

                              Even my parents are also facing the same problem. At the end of the scheme Kalyan jewellers are asking to select an ornament out of few collections earmarked. Otherwise they are asking to pay 30000 more to get the jewels of our choice. Also the price per gram is as per the market value during the date of purchase. Why the hell we should pay in advance and get harrased by fraud schemes with negaive benifits ? We all should raise this issue. RBI has laid strict policies for gold saving schemes and in spite of this we are being cheated nicely.
                              KALYAN JEWELLERS I AM ALSO SCHEME MEMBER, I HAVE SELECTED 1 ITEM, I GOT THAT ITEM WITH HALLMARK & CORRECT TIME, NO FRAUD THIS COMPANY, ITS A BRANDED SHOWROOM & MY FAMILY MEMBERS ALSO GOINING, FIRST UNDERSTAND TERM & CONDITIONS .
                              Kalyan Jewelers is absolutely a Cheating Jeweler. What Mr. raj.kumar99 uploaded is totally incorrect. They still follow the same method. We have to select from a brochure given to us and not anything other than that. If we want the item we choose other than the brochure shown, there should be extra charge. Mr. raj.kumar99 seems to be their own person or making false statement about the company. Or he has been paid for making such statement. Of course it is a branded company, but it does not mean that they do not cheat customers. Three of my friends were cheated by Kalyan Jewelers, like not making promises made, giving inferior quality and charging exorbitant making charges.

                              They spent crores of rupees on ad by putting superstars like Amitab Bhachan, Abhishek Bachan, Aishwarya Rai, Prabhu and lot of other south Indian superstars by spending crores of rupees. From where they get so much money. It is by cheating poor customers. Other how can they afford such a huge amount of money. From where they were paying these money. From their own pockets? No businessman will do that. I have also see several other complaints against Kalyan Jewelers. A man from Hyderabad lodged a police complaint against Kalyan Jewelers in Hyderabad for cheating him by supplying inferior quality of gold. So-many friends of mine stopped going to Kalyan Jewelers and instead they choose Malabar Gold.

                              In fact the money they spent in terms of super-stars' advertisement, the money should spent for the benefit of buyers. That is the true human spirit, which many jewelers follows. Do they think that by seeing above superstars, we will be complelled to buy from Kalyan? No ... never. Now it is becoming a practice that a customer once visit Kalyan never go back again. That is the situation prevailing. They are loosing business because of their cheating mentality of Kalyan. The Coorg-based owner of this firm selected superstar managed customer style. He should not think that customers are fools to believe superstars saying Kalyan Jewelers is giving pure gold and genuine Jeweller. The Coorg-businesman is wrong. She should change his strategy by giving quality services to customers, and keeping promises made.

                              In my case there was some delay in making instalment, for they are asking for extra making charge that is 13% instead of the originally agreed 8%. Any way, I am not going to leave this issue here. I will definitely take it further. One day, customers are going to see in TV. They will not see Superstars in TV, they will see other news about Kalyan Jewelers.

                              This is just a warning only. More are expected!

                              I completely agree you. My self also felt fraud in gold chit in same way.
                              Mr Prashant Mishra, who is an employee of Karve road branch, Pune, is providing nice services to the customers. However the overall services of Kalyan are totally unsatisfactory. They are not meting their promises. On 31 Oct 2015, I made some purchases. Their services are not upto the mark. Customers are always facing problems due to their server disorder. Yesterday evening I made some purchases & while returning I put unsatisfactory comments in their suggestion book.

                              Further, since yesterday I could not get the pakka bill (invoice) due to their server problem today I again approached to the shop for the same.

                              Till this movement, I am not in receipt of the same & also no any type of communication from them.

                              THE WORST SERVICES.

                              All are suggested to take care before approaching Kalyan.

                              I also got the same experience from Kalyan Jewellers, Karve Road, Pune when I went for purchase of ornament the sales man of the counter compulsarily enrolled me to purchase advance scheme at that time the counter of payment person told that you will get the rate of gold at the time of selection and now they are telling that you will have to pay at current rate and out of brochure product making charges discount for scheme will not allowed. So worst services.

                                Yesterday I went to Kalyan jewellers, Dickenson road bangalore branch to buy ear studds. I was shocked to see that almost all the sets we saw had a making +wastage of 22%. For a simple design how can they put that much of wastage. When they do on a large scale the makingcharges should be even lesser than usual. Mr. PRABHU and Mr. Shivrajkumar, your claim of low making charges is false. Please don't deceit people just for advertisement sake.

                                  My family purchased a platinum chain two years before worth around 97, 000/- . It was a defective piece. With in six months of its purchase we found a joint of it broken. As my family resides at Port Blair, considerably far from Pondicherry, we had to travel to Pondicherry to get the chain replaced or corrected. We went to the shop and placed our problem. Instead of listening to our problem the staffs started misbehaving. We told them that if our chain is not replaced or repaired we will approach the court of law. Hearing this, they were little worried. Soon thereafter they received the chain and assured that it will be corrected. We received the chain back after many months and found that the chain was not repaired properly. A ring which joined the other part and was broken is found to be missing. When we complained again, it was told that we have missed it. In this way we have been cheated and deceived. Before approaching the consumer forum we have decided to file this complaint.

                                      Dear All Concerned & Victims of Kalyan Jewellers, I am putting up my experience, rather a grievance. I had done an FD in their prevailing scheme in Aug 2014 in Karol Bagh, Delhi of INR 5, 000/- pm which I have just discontinued in Mar 2015. Following are the key points with their reactions over the same. 1. Firstly they had change the FD scheme in between without prior notice, written communication or any msg. While they record all such details on inception of the FD. Important point here is that they have given the bond but not scheme terms & conditions during anytime of the tenure. 2. Even on changing the scheme in between (without prior notice which they had forcefully done), they did not inculcate this practice even after I had told them to be transparent. Instead they asked me click a photo of an example in their illustration diary. 3. Since, 6th month installment they were after me to choose an ornament from their catalogue.Though I had a word with their management I will not be choosing the any ornament & I had clearly mentioned them I will be going for diamond jewellery & not anything from the catalogue. Also, I mentioned I will buying ornaments approx 1 Lac & will clear the amount instant. Imp point here is that they have never mentioned: a. That we need to choose the ornament in the 8th Month b. There was never a catalogue which I was briefed to choose from those selected items only. c. Best part is: they said after 11th month they will need 2 months to deliver the selected item d. Diamond jewellery is very selected & you cannot go for other ornaments. 4. This continued for 7th, 8th installment. On 9th installment after paying the installment they compelled me to choose an ornament else they will not go ahead with the FD & will forfeit the amount & on top of it they said if their so-called management is considerate enough they will repay the amount with a DD 2 months after 11th month with cost incurred to make the same from my money will be mailed on my mailing address. Imp point here is they had never told me anything about it, this was almost like a bully where in they were doing what ever they felt like with my money & I have been looking & suffering like a loser to choose the wrong place for investment of my money & to buy jewellery. 5. This led to a heated discussion & after I lost my cool on them & yelling at them on the floor and creating a fuss they decided to give my money back and that too in cash only. Imp point here are: a. They have utilized my money & I lost the interest on my investment. b. No compensation of my interest were discussed. c. All this scenario was never mentioned on any piece of paper d. Their hospitality is their prank to raise money from the people instead going public. e. No upper management came into picture to resolve the same & instead they were looking very cool & prepared to do all this as if they had done the same or seen the same in the past f. Best part came into being when they asked me fill up a form which mentioned that I am not able to continue the FD due to my personal reasons & financial crunch, this was never the case & I had clearly declined saying if i will sign this then they to sign on papers where in I will describe the whole scenario. g. Best part came in when they said 'agar aap nahi maanoge to hum apko yahan se dhakke maar k nikal denge' - 'if i will not cooperate with them, they will throw me out of their place'. I am not boasting here but just when I said who I am & what kind of conduct they are using, they were all on floors for settlement. All their Ads & brand ambassadors is a bluff & just a marketing gimmick and they are just another jeweller looking forward to pull money from innocent people's pocket. My certain request to you all is to stay away from these fraudulent people & stay invested in other tools. Hope my experience will be an eye opener for you all. And I confirm here that I have all evidences & I am not putting this up due to any grudges or non adherence & understanding of scheme.
