Dear Team, I was travelling from Bangalore to Hyderabad in KSRTC (Its a Govt Bus agency of Karnataka Govt) Volvo multi axle bus on Date of journey : 25/07/2014 and PNR No : J44191228. The bus caught fire at the rear end and the supporting tire totally got burnt and melted I am attaching the photos FYR. The bus driver did not notice and there was police patrol coming chasing from 3 kilometers still the driver did not stopped and once we've heard a sound then the driver has stopped the bus then we heard some sound coming and we alerted the driver then the driver stopped the bus and checked the tire that time we've noticed the supporting tire totally got burnt. The bus driver did not have any spare tire and equipments to fix the tires. even the bus was not equipped with the tool box which is mandatory in normal buses. Being a Volvo and after spreading so much awareness the KSRTC people have not even provided the basic equipments with the bus. The bus could have become another Palem incident where entire bus got burnt and entire 40+ people have died but by the grace of god we are alive and no back up tire and no correct equipment to open and fix the tire available with the bus. There is no coordination between the state bus as my bus stopped by this incident and when we tried to stop other buses (KSRTC) for help but no one stopped by showing the hands as if we are thieves after seeing KSRTC bus they didn't stop and came for our rescue. I have raised a complaint to KSRTC on the same day but till now there is not action has been taken on the incident and i have learnt that the same kind of incident has happened next day to other bus in Karnataka by KSRTC only. I am attaching the Photos with Bus number. I have raised a complaint and provided all the description with Photos on the same day but still I did not see any action (893050). I am hoping at least now you will take any action now, so that we can avoid same kind of incidents happening again. Thanks, Satish Kumar M

    I was booking a ticket from Bangalore to Kuppali, seat was not confirmed but the amount got deducted from the account. Below are the details. Journey date : 27/08/2014 Booking date : 29/07/2014 Booking ID: shashi.[protected]@gmail.com OB number : OB12602968 I have contacted KSRTC call center and have sent two e-mails to the concerned team. But amount has not been refunded yet.
    Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation [KSRTC] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    It is almost 10 days and the amount has not been credited yet. Poor service from KSRTC.

      Hi, I have booked in Karnataka KSRTC to travel on 13/08/2014 to Kannur - Trip Code: 0815BNGCNR. PNR# J44788270. Bus crew, didn't call us before leaving the stand, we waited for 1 hour. Without taking us, bus left the stand. This is the responsibility of KSRTC Bus crews, when I called the conductor, he said, my name is not in the list. But I re-confirmed with customer service center that, it was there in the list, conductor missed to call. Regards, Dileep

        Failure to refund payment for failed online transaction

        Hi, I was trying to book 4 tickets from Bangalore to Chitradurga through KSRTC (Karnataka), which failed due to some hang/processing issues. But, I find that my credit card has been debited with INR 1505 for this. I sent a mail to [protected]@ksrtc.org on May 21st at 4:06pm providing details below, to enable KSRTC to process a refund.         Sir, i N jagadees narayan, On July 29th, was waiting for the bus here at the Kuzhikkattumoola, near Infopark in Kochi at about 5.40 pm and a bus running to infopark to Cherthala with no-4616 has come on the way. Then a KSRTC ordinary bus came and they even don't care to make a stoppage for even a fraction of the second and just left off. And i was about to fall into the road and luckily escaped. I request you to take action against the respective driver.

            I was travelling from Dinnur main road to RT Nagar on July 7th 2014 9.15am.The bus Number 3842 from Kaval Byrasandra to KR Market.The conductor did not issue the ticket.He took the money from me and just went to the other side of the bus.The bus was crowded and meanwhile the checking inspector asked ticket and had put 200 Rs fine for not having ticket with me.I paid 200 RS fine and She did not give me the receipt also.Please Do take action on this..

              I have been a frequent traveler and I was highly satisfied with KSRTC service until the last time I traveled. I had a very bad experience. City : From Coimbatore to Bangalore Bus Number : KA- 40F718 Date of journey : 29/6/2014 The bus was supposed to depart at 10.05 PM according to the timing mentioned from my pickup point. I reached there by 10, 00 PM. I did not find the bus. Infact when I called up the number provided, the driver said, bus left my pickup point and they cannot stop. I asked them to wait, and inquired about where the bus was. But they never responded properly to me. They said they cannot stop the bus for me on the way. And when I somehow managed to reach the bus, the driver starts yelling instead of answering. Firstly, the bus left 5 mins early. This can be considered. Atleast as part of basic curtosy they should have called to check if the passenger is on the way(which generally happens). Without informing or bothering about the passenger, they left and when questioned, they reply they left on time. Such arrogant behavior of the crew is definitely not acceptable. Now I have lost trust on your transportation service. I might be just one passenger for you. But I would never choose KSRTC ever again.

                Today, 1st July 2014, I booked one ticket in the name of Miss Keertana from Pune to Mangalore for 03/07/2014 and selected seat no 37 leaving Pune at 1830 hrs. After putting all details of my visa card I got the message from Citibank that Rs 1236 has been debited to my account. For this your ref no is OB12343263. Thereafter the screen gets blank and no confirmation about my ticket being booked. I repeated for the second time and this time your reference no was OB12345263. Here again I get a message from citibank that Rs 1236 has been spent on your card at KSRTC Central Office. I have still not been able to get the ticket booked.                 I had booked ticket from Bangalore to Kottayam online on 1-2-2015 for the journey on 3-2-2015.

                The transaction failed but my amount of Rs 1048 was deducted my debit card.

                I tried to book BUS ticket using KSRTC.in website, with all my details entered and payed cash through Netbanking. Money is deducted but dint receive any confirmation email of SMS. Very bad!!. Please let me know how to refund money

                  Hi i have travelled from Ramamurthy nagar signal to KR puram railway station on 19th June, 14. And i had paid 12rs to the conductor but he has given 6rs ticket when i asked him, he told nothing will happen... And he refused to return balance amount. The num is KA-03, F170. Not only this conductor. Most of the conductors are doing the same thing. Please take action on this.

                    We are taken ticket from davengere to Bangalore for a small child around 8years boy on 17/06/14 time at davengere 16:43:49 No. 217561 Bus No; KA 01 F 4581 due to our relative was expired we made our child to journey from davengere to Bangalore alone with strong communication with conductor by way of requested once you reach Bangalore pls give a request stop at RNS Maruthi car Showroom to receive child, with care of so much communication with conductor on phone he was agreed and said we will give stop at RNS showroom don’t worry but such careless and irresponsible conductor, he was dropped before one stop of RNS showroom near Mysore road cross at guruguntte playa circle such busy traffic and told to child that you get down here no other stop will be given next. Such small 8 year child has taken help from someone to call us to reach.
                    Please kindly insist the problem which conductor committed

                      Hi KSRTC Team,

                      I had booked 4 tickets for trip to thirupathi from bangalore on 15/06/2014. The bus scheduled was at 9:05 PM. According to this time i had booked my room tickets and darshana tickets in Thirupathi.

                      The Scheduled bus was cancelled and i dint get any notification that the bus was cancelled and tickets were booked for 11:00PM Bus without my knowledge. We thought that the bus was at 9 and we kept on waiting for the bus from 8:30 PM till 11:00 PM(2.5 hours).

                      I need valid explanation for below questions:
                      1. Why was it not notified to us that the bus was cancelled?
                      2. How could you book yourself for 11:00 PM bus without our confirmation? We waited for the bus for 2.5 hours.
                      3. The seat numbers which we booked was -19, 20, 25, 26 (At the middle), but the seats which were provide to us were last seats and quality of the seats were not good also Pushback was not proper.
                      4. Due to this delay we missed our scheduled darshana timings in Thirupathi and ended up waiting for 2 days in queue. If you had notified us that the bus was cancelled i would have booked alternative buses myself.

                      Request you to provide valid explanations for all the problems we faced for booking KSRTC tickets.

                        Dear Sir/Madam, On June 18th June 2014 I was travelling from Dharmasthala to Kukkesubramany in the vehicle number KA 19 F 3267. While boarding the bus in Dharmasthala I found the conductor shouting at the women passengers. When questioned he mumbled some obscenities and said I dont need passengers like you. After the journey started I found the conductor to be extremely rude and obnoxious towards the passengers, especially female travelers I had asked for for 3 full tickets and one senior citizen ticket but was given 3 full, one half and one senior citizen ticket and when questioned I was abused even when the passenger next to me confirmed that I had correctly asked for the tickets. A passenger sitting two rows behind me was given ticked up top kukke even though he had asked for ticket to some different stop. After reaching the destination I was writing down the bus number to complaint the conductor started to get physical and had to be restrained by other passengers.                           Dear Sir/Madam,

                          I booked ticket from Tirupathi to Bangalore in KSRTC Airavat. My journey date is 15/06/2014.

                          Actually I am coming from Nellore which is 130 KMs away from Tirupathi, to catch the bus in Tirupathi. But due to road elavation works on National Highway-5 (NH-5) I strucked in traffic jam and I came 10 minutes late to the actual departure time (23:01)

                          I got one e-ticket message from KSRTC 20 minutes before the departure of the bus and I called the Mobile number mentioned in that message to convey that I am coming late, but that Mobile number is switched off.

                          At Departure time (23:00) I got call from Driver from different Mobile number, I said that I will come in ten minutes, the Driver said ok and also the driver said that he will wait at corner.

                          I arrived at Bus stop at 23:10 and I called the driver, the driver said he left.

                          I came ten minute late, the driver did not picked me and left, later I purchased ticket in another KSRTC Airavat Bus (23:42) and reached Bangalore.

                          I lost my money, I need my money back. Please do justice to me.

                            I booked a ticket from Shirdi to Hubli( Karnataka ) on 15th June 2014 and the journey date was 17th June 2014. While online transaction got failed and the bus fare amount of Rs.1979/- ( Rupees One thousand nine hundred and seventy nine only ) got deducted from my account through SBI Internet banking. KSRTC Online transaction reference number is OB12207859 and date of booking is 15/06/2014 and the reference number given by KSRTC was IGV5918468. Please help me to refund this amount to my SBI account as soon as possible.

                              This complaint is against the bus service from pala-banglore. We don't have an option to book the ticket for this bus from pala-banglore. We have to go in person to pala depot to book the ticket from pala-banglore.Online reservation is only for journey from banglore-pala. Even if we are boarding from Mysore, we have to pay the full fare from banglore for reserving the ticket. And today morning when we went to pala depot, they were not willing to give tickets for the bus for journey from pala-mysore. They asked us to reserve the ticket till banglore, even if we are getting down in mysore. This is injustice towards the people who depends on this particular bus for to and fro journey. So now instead of 412 rs we are forced to pay 678 rs. And the officers there in pala depot won't give us the ticket the very first time we go for reserving the ticket, they'll make us come back at least 3-4 times before they give us the ticket. They will give the ticket only between 9:30 and 3:30, and again they will go out in between when we ask them fo ticket. It's like they are trying to send back the people who want to reserve tickets. We don't have any private buses or train to go to mysore. The only bus we have is this particular bus and we are fed up with the attitude of the people who are in charge of this in pala depot. We feel pity for the plight of our KSRTC services after enjoying the service of karnataka SRTC. Do take some action for this before all the malayalis out in karnataka start leaving our KSRTC and go after private services or services offered by karnataka SRTC.

                                  Bus number : KA 01 2557. This driver always use bad words to girls. When I told I will give complaint, he told you cant do anything and just get out of the bus for no reason, he is not supposed to do this and should have little common sense. Please take some actions.

                                    Dear Sirs, My daughter who is studying in Mangalore, is returning back to Mangalore from Kerala today (01/06/2014) by Airavat KSRTC. At the time of booking the ticket at Mangalore, the person in charge told my daughter that she has to inform the bus crew about her boarding point (Vyttila Hub). As soon as she got the crew's mobile no. [protected]. she called him to inform about her boarding point and not ask where the bus will stop at Vyttila. The person named Chandrashekar P spoke to her very rudely and cut the phone. When her uncle called him, he spoke to him also very rudely and said he cannot keep answering everyone's call. Pleas note that there was no enquiry made but only tried to inform the boarding point. When she boarded the bus too, he started talking to her very rudely asking her why she had asked her father to call him. He started talking in Kannada, when she said she can't understand Kannada, he told her "why are you going to Mangalore if you can't speak Kannada ?" Who is he to ask her such things ? I am sure KSRTC has not given him such authority as to behave is such disrespectful manner. How can we send our children in KSRTC buses if the crew is not trained properly to behave. I am sure you will agree with me that he was not doing any favour to my daughter by letting her board at Vyttila Hub. I believe that you will look into this matter and take necessary disciplinary action, so has to help the passengers travel peacefully.
