I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I faced with the parking facility at the Mysore Satellite Bus Stand, Bengaluru, on the ground floor of the bus stand.
On 29th October 2024, at approximately 11:00 PM, I parked my two-wheeler in the designated parking area. Notably, there were no visible signs or notices indicating parking rates or other terms and conditions for parking.
Upon returning to retrieve my vehicle on 3rd November 2024, around 11:00 PM, I was presented with an unusually high charge of Rs.510. This amount was demanded without any explanation of how it was calculated, and the staff refused to provide any receipt. Additionally, although a UPI payment option was available, I was forced to pay the amount in cash and was treated in a disrespectful manner by the staff.
This experience raises concerns about transparency, professionalism, and accountability on the part of the parking contractor. I kindly request your department to investigate the following:
1. The basis for the excessive parking charges and lack of transparent calculation.
2. The failure to provide a receipt for payments.
3. The discourteous behavior of the staff and insistence on cash payments despite UPI availability.
I believe addressing these issues will help improve the user experience at the bus stand and maintain accountability for contractors. Was this information helpful? |
