[Resolved] Kelvinator — Defective kelvinator refrigerator | |||
Dear Sir/ Madam, 1. I have unfortunately purchased 325 ltr Kelvinator refrigerator bearing Regn no. KCP325TCWT-FDB[protected] on 15 Mar 2015 from M/s Kay Dee Audio vision Pvt Ltd, B-1/36 Sector 18, Noida. The phone nos of the vendor is[protected]. The copy of the bill is att for perusal please. 2. Immediately, after purchase of the refrigerator, I kept registering complaints for poor quality product, poor workmanship and defective sub assemblies. The complaints did not address the issue promptly and the same still remains unresolved. Every time complaints are being closed without attending. I raised the issue with Company’s Area Manager Mr Manjeet Singh and Mr Pandey. However, both of them failed to resolve the issue till date. You may like to verify these facts from your service centre which will substantiate my claims. The complaints registered and closed without being attended are:- (a) GHA [protected] dt 19 sep 15 (b) GHA [protected] 24 Jun 15 (c) GHA[protected] dt 14 jun 15 (d) GHA [protected] dt 29 May 15 (e) GHA [protected] DTD 29 MAY 15 and similar complaints on regular basis. 3. The vendor and your service representatives have remained unresponsive till date even after lapse of TEN months despite my repetitive complaints. The refrigerator has many defects since beginning and not functioning as required. have also been sending emails on the mail id provided for last few months but the mail is not being delivered /delayed. it appears that email id provided is fake. The phone numbers provided for consumer complaints do not exist. The complaint being registered through SMS are also being closed without attending. The website and email address to lodge consumer complaints also do not exist. The company appears to be in the market to fleece people. 4. I would request you to look into matter and provide me either replacement for the defective KELVINATOR refrigerator or refund of sale price of the refrigerator i.e; Rs 17000/- with 12% interest on priority .In case the replacement/ refund is not provided in next 15 days, I being protected under the Consumer Protection Act of 1986 shall file complaint with the Consumer Forum for selling me defective refrigerator by your company. The consumer complaint will be at your cost and expense and I shall be seeking suitable compensation for the mental agony caused due to fraud committed by your company. 5. The photographs of defective refrigerator is att as Appendix for your perusal and further necessary actions on priority. 6. Please accord priority.
