Hi kent (To any of your senior management if they are reading this), i requested for service of my 1.3 year old kent prime machine which has recently exhausted its 1 year warranty.
The problem: a continuous beep sound after 10 minutes of switching on the machine. That is all. (Fyip, both the sediment and carbon filters were changed recently).
Technician keerti visited our premises and said we need to change all the filters except ro (Including uv lamp) and changed it at the expense of around 4000 rs during 2 visits. However there was no resolution (Still continuous beep after 10 min). Only during the 4th visit did they realize that the beep was because of a faulty smps and charged another 935 rs to replace the same and then the problem was rectified. Total of around 5000rs.
My question - since the problem was smps, i am sure all the filters were definetely not faulty, hence any customer would feel bad that he had to spend rs 5000rs in one go for a technicians lack of knowledge. Please advice. Was this information helpful? |
