[Resolved] Kent RO — kent sales and service misleading customer | |||
I will provide a short and detail review on kent product. My recommendation is to do detail study on quality of water available in your area and product capability. I failed to do that and sale person took advantage of that and sold me a wrong product. My area tds fluctuates from 800 to 1300. I brought kent pearl (Rs.16000) 3.5 years back knowing kent is good brand and sales man form orange impex, pune insured it is best product for this area. But in reality following parts were replaced approx. Till date: Ro -8 qty Carbon and sediment -6 qty Other component like frt - 11 qty Scv (Flow control valve) - 2 qty Pump - 2 qty Main controller - 1 qty Since some of parts were free of charge in first year warranty and i missed few bills. Still the total parts cost in 2.5 years is rs.20350 approx. Which is more than 8000 per year. It is more than this because now for the part replace they are charging me another rs. 6000 along with pump. So i am planning to replace complete system with other brand. Kent products are only capable of withstanding tds 700 to 800 ppm and area having low scaling of water. My last pump could not last even a year due to scaling. Yes, it is fact that my area has more than 800 ppm and high scaling. But there are products in market which are capable to withstand these circumstances easily. I believe most of the area in india not falling under corporation will more less have my area condition. Later when i came to know from my colleague that we can avail amc (Annual maintenance charge) for water purifier. I called kent for amc. Starting they denied to provide in my area. Later when i told other brand are charging rs.5000 or less, they were willing to provide at rs.7000, but before that i need to spend another rs.7000 to renew my system parts. Finally i am planning to get a new water purifier instead of paying rs.14000. Kent sales and services somewhat misleading and misguiding customer to go for their products, understating their product capabilities. You can understand they are hesitating to provide amc after sale. Was this information helpful? | |||
