[Resolved] Kent RO — membrane filter faulty | |||
I have a kent ro purifier. I called service engineer on[protected] for regular service as water taste was not good but after testing, engineer informed me that ro's membrane filter is not working. This was shocking as i got membrane filter replaced on[protected] by paying inr 2700. After just 3 months as soon as warranty period expires, membrane stopped working again. We used to trust the brand and call service engineer regularly for service, but this kind of faults in kent products makes me suspicious. I am not sure since when ro membrane is nor working (As i got to know about this once the engineer informed me) and hence it jeopardize my and my family's health. Trusting the brand i would expect that the membrane should be replaced as soon as possible without any extra cost. Was this information helpful? | |||

I posted my complaint related to fault in membrane filter but I have not gotten any resolution yet instead of your assurances. In the reply to my complaint it was suggested to call to customer care and I did the same . But every time I call customer care they send a new engineer to identify the fault, in-spite of the fact that fault has already been identified and the only solution is to replace the membrane filter.
As already mentioned my concern here is the frequency in which RO's parts get faulty due to which I have already wasted too much money.I got RO membrane replaced on[protected] which comes with 3 months of warranty, however Kent team assured me that owing to the already good water supply quality (TDS 130 in supply water), membrane will work for at least one year.But when kent engineer came for routine service on 6th May, he confirmed that filter is faulty.This was shocking, as I presumed Kent as a trustworthy brand and was assure that I and my family is drinking safe water using Kent RO. But this is not true .Just after the warranty period expired my RO stopped filtering. I have already wasted so much money on AMCs and getting filters changed every time that I could have bought a new RO using that amount.
Kindly get membrane Filter replaced free of cost as its a breech of trust that components of so called the best RO purifier doesn't last for even 3 months. Soliciting an effective reply from your side .
