[Resolved] Kent Water Purifiers — Reg : kent maxx out if warranty service issue. | |||||
I own a kent maxx water purifier with uv and uf. I have raised a service request today 15th of jan as the water flow from filter got slow and narrow and takes around one hour to fill the storage tank. The service scheduling was excellent within 4 hours time the kent expert attended us on our doorstep for service.. The problem started from there, he opened the purifier and started telling to replacing all most all the major items like 2 filter gaskets, 1 taste filter, 1 uv filter etc without even checking it's conditions, and also demonstrated an additional external gasket of 2200 rs, which is connected between tap and purifier (Act as an additional layer of filter to remove mud and dust from water before it going to purifier). He is never bothered about cleaning or servicing of any part, he just wanted to replace everything.. Final i agreed to replace 2 filters (650 rsx2), he replaced it. Then he was checking the uv filter and disconnected the cable from its both sides, after that he couldn't plug back the cable properly or something has damaged while removing the cable, when reconnected water started leaking from both sides o[censored]v filter and all the electric cable and gadget inside the machine got wet. Then he called me and said i have to replace that filter also which again coat me around 1000, i said it was not at all leaking before, it's damaged from your end only pls replace the same at free of cost. Finally he agreed the same and said that the particular item is out of stock, will come tomorrow again with that uv filter to replace it free of cost. Now we can't use the purifier to take water, he literally damaged it.. We are not sure whether it will work properly even if the uv filter replaced, because lot of water leaked inside and all electrical components are wet will lead to short circuit. Now we doubt that the 2 filters he asked us to replace was also in decent condition to use, really disappointed with the service person, it was evident from his gestures that he is new to business and communication was not proper.. Literally the product is not working now and we don't have water for cooking, eagerly waiting for his revert tomorrow.. Would like to take this incident to kent.
