Kerala State Electricity Board [KSEB] — Improper Maintenance Of Street Lights

This is to inform you about the poor maintenance of lights in our Street,
Panckappady Road, Kaninad which is coming under KSEB Section Office Puthenkurish.
The streets are clearly showing a lack of maintenance as well. Pits and dumps all along the street have turned out to be a major concern.
The condition of the street becomes terrible after 6pm. The condition of roads and improper lighting increase the possibility of fatal road accidents. Most of the streetlights in the street are out of order resulting in poorly lit areas. This has led to creating a paradise for burglars and petty thieves. Though I am saying, it’s really a matter of concern as people in our residential area are getting scared and we are not feeling safe inside our own houses. Mainly, the women and children are at risk as they are the ones left at home when others are busy in their respective workplaces. Residents are using mobile torches while walking around the streets.

So, I request you to kindly take necessary action to improve the ways so that people of the residence have good streets and streetlights.
