I am a resident of HARITHAM, THIRUNALLUR PO, CHERTHALA, ALAPPUZHA DISTRICT, KERALA-688541 and having an electricity connection consumer number 11161 in the name of Gopalakrishnan Nair. Since two years the old type of electricity meter of my house is not working and I am depositing the electricity charges as they are charging the amount coming in his mind at the time of placing/writing bill by the meter reader. Due to which I have submitted a written complaint against this for new electronic meter to Asst Engineer Electricity sub division, Cherthala two years ago and frequently I requested to AE and other staff like Sub Engr, Billing section etc., personally while I was on leave as I am serving in defence service and now posted in Leh-Ladakh region which is about 13000 ft High Altitude but neither meter has been changed by them till date nor to fix a minimum charges ie. 200/- to 300/- pm. The meter reader does not complaint submitted to AE till date and he threatening to me or my relative to deposit the amount against electricity bill would be floated by this office, otherwise electricity connection be disconnected without any pre-information. I have so many times requested to replace the meter or give a minimum charge between Rs. 200/- to Rs. 300/- per month but they have told me that meter is now not available. Therefore, please take necessary action and instruct to them replace the meter immediately.
