I had done a prepaid take-away order of 586.99 rupees through the KFC official app. This was done on 4th June, 2021. Right after this when I eagerly went to pick up the order, the staff in branch(KFC, Kammanahalli) told me that there has been internet error and the order wasn't placed and so they asked me to call the CUSTOMER care and ask for a refund. Then, all frustrated and disappointed...I call the CUSTOMER care just to feel even worse. They confirmed that the order had been placed and paid for and asked me to wait for 2 minutes while they put me on hold and reconnect me to someone else. I was waiting for 8-10 minutes on after which they cut the call! This really annoyed me and I kept calling and calling for atleast 10 times until now. I have told them that I would complaint if any action is not taken and their reply is unchanged right from the beginning! I have actually recorded some of the calls showing how toss me around different people trying to waste my time. When a huge company such as KFC has such a ### CUSTOMER service where they are literally making me beg for my money, I'm losing hope on online shopping. Now there's a fear for paying online! This event has got me all frustrated because KFC was my favourite place to go every time. I now want them to pay me back for all the inconvenience caused to my time and mind.
