This is an incident from KFC, Patel Nagar West, New Delhi -110008, India. On 24th November, 2021, I'd made a payment via UPI, amounting to Rs. 550, which got stuck in KFC's account as their system had crashed. I then had to pay again via cash.
They guaranteed me a refund in the next 1-2 weeks. When I again called them up for the refund after 17 days, they said that they had processed the refund 2-3 days before and also gave me the reference id. Till December end, this went on and I kept calling them to no avail & everytime I asked for my refund, they would ask me for my bank statement. I kept sending my bank statements till January end.
In between they said that it's showing that I've received the refund, but I hadn't. I even contacted my bank enquiring about the same.
In January end, they said that they've again initiated the refund and it will reach to me by 2nd February, 2022.
It never reached me yet again and when I again tried contacting them, they've stopped receiving my calls now.
Please look into this fraud committed openly by KFC & help me with this matter ASAP.
