Khadim's — poor quality of ladies chappal (item code no.[protected]) size-7

I have purchased a Ladies Chappal (Item Code No.[protected]) Size-7 Black Colour from Gariahat Outlet on 30.04, 2024 for my daughter. She wore the said Chappal only for 2 days that too by availing our Personal Vehicle from Tollygunge to Kasba Thana for attending her coaching classes. The upper portion of both the pairs of the black chappal has gone up after wearing the shoes for above two days. On date (6.5.24) I have attended your Gariahat Store to show the same and requested for remedial measures/change of the same vis-a-vis obtaining your views. It is ridiculous to note that your manager intimated badly that it has occurred due to stumbling somewhere and he has nothing to do on the matter. Being a regular customer of Khadims, it is not expected from an authority of repute. My daughter is now in Cl.XII South Point High School. Since her Nursery-I to till date, We are purchasing School shoes from Khadims/Gariahat as per practice and instructions of South Point School. It is a matter of great regret that a ladies chappal of Khadim costing Rs.799 has only the life for 2 days? Although there is no question of stumbling being availing the journey from Tollygunge to Kasba by own vehicle, still considering your Manager's remarks of stumbling somewhere, , the shoes that cost Rs.799/- will the leather of the shoes come off? It is not at all desirable from a company of repute like Khadims.

In view of the above, it is requested to please look into the matter and do the needful on the matter for change of chappal or otherwise, as deem fit and proper. Manager/Gariahat Store should also be counselled for proper behaviour with the customer.

Please do the needful on the matter otherwise I will have no other options than to go Consumer Forum.
