I recently purchased a gold chain from Khazana Jewellery, and unfortunately, the chain got damaged within just 13 days. I used it only once, so this appears to be a manufacturing/quality issue.
I visited Khazana Jewellery, Anakapalli, and explained the issue. They said they would send an email regarding the matter. After one week, they called me and informed me that I could exchange the chain.
However, when I went for the exchange, I was told that I had to pay an additional amount towards wastage and other charges. When I requested them to simply repair the chain, they again said that I would have to pay for the repair and that it would take around one month.
I feel this is completely unfair when the product was damaged within 13 days and was used only once. If it is a manufacturing defect, the customer should not be made to bear additional repair, wastage, or exchange charges.
I am very disappointed with the way Khazana Jewellery has handled this issue. I expected better quality and proper customer service from a reputed jewellery store. Please resolve this issue fairly without charging the customer for a manufacturing defect. Was this information helpful? |
