Subject: Formal Complaint: Repeated Defects in Gold Chain Purchased on[protected]Invoice No.[protected] – Demand for Full Refund or Replacement
Dear / Grievance Officer,
I am G V Pradeep Reddy (Mobile: [protected]), a customer from Kadapa who purchased a 22K(916KDM) gold chain (short) from your Tirupati showroom on[protected]Invoice No.[protected], gross weight 24.110 grams, value approximately ₹1, 63, 534 + accessories).
From day one, the chain has had severe quality issues: the hook and links break repeatedly, making it unwearable. Your branch manager attributed this to "gold melting, " indicating a material or manufacturing defect.
Despite multiple complaints and repairs, the problem persists (over 5 times in 2 years):

This repeated failure causes significant inconvenience and financial loss. Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, I am entitled to a remedy for defective goods.
I demand:
Full refund of the chain's purchase value (adjusted for current gold rate if needed), or
Replacement with a defect-free chain of equivalent or better quality.
