Kolkata Traffic Police — wrong prosecution of vehicle no. wb01af1113 dated 30/07/2017

Sir,

I am very much surprised to see the sms in my mobile no. [protected] that my motor cycle has been prosecuted for traffic rule violation on 30.07.2017 for riding bike without wearing helmet at loudon street/short street/, at 18:51 hrs., vide case no - ggtw076879/17 dated 30/07/2017.

In this context i would like to bring to your kind notice that on that day at that time i was in my office and i did not visited loudon street/short street at all. I would also like to mention that from the very first day i am riding bike, i always wear helmet for self-safety and not for the rule and i am highly habituated to it.

The prosecution is purely incorrect and it’s a fake case. Perhaps the police personnel noted down the number wrongly. I would like to request to see the c c tv footage of that place on that particular date & time minutely.

Therefore, i request your honour to kindly look into the matter and delete the case no. Ggtw076879/17 dated 30/07/2017. Against vehicle no. Wb01af1113 and oblige and abstain me from paying the penalty till i know the decision from your end.
