Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that my vehicle WB01AQ7585 has been wrongly prosecuted for "Without Helmet" at Rabindra Sarani/K K Tagore Street (North) at 08:02 hrs vide case no- crTW195939/23 dated 18-Nov-23. The fine for the said prosecution is Rs. 1000/-.

I would like to highlight the points strongly that firstly I am a Sikh by religion and always wear Turban as a customary head gear. Secondly I was very much available in my house at the time of the case been registered shown above (08:02 hrs). The above facts clearly shows that, being a Sikh neither do I have to wear helmet during riding vehicle nor I was riding my vehicle at the time of the prosecution shown above. This is a clear case of false registration.

Hence it's a humble request from the undersigned to kindly review the same and consider to wave off my case at your end.

Hi Sir,

Few boys, who are not in uniform and do not hold valid identify was collecting parking fees in front of Technopolish building Sec V, Saltlake. When we objected, they stand up in front of car and did not leave until we paid their demand amount. This generally they do during weekdays including Saturday. Request you to look into it urgently.

I was travelling by bike through Chingrighata bypass crossing, I was stopped on Green signal by Kolkata traffic police personnel and asked for vehicle & driving license document. To which I showed all documents on the Mparivahan app, which was all okay.
Then following incident happened in chronological way :-
i) They saw earphone around my neck & took photo and said there will be Rs1000/- fine.
ii) I told them simply carrying earphone is not crime as I was not using it and i will video record conversation on my phone, so that i can challenge them for fine in court.
iii) They started threatening me and Mr Dudh Kumar Naskar/ Sub Inspector (Bidhannagar East PS, Bidhannagar Police commissionarate), snatched my earphone & broke it and said they will lock me up keep me behind bar while using slang language (sala bihari etc).
iv) I was frightened by their hostile posture and they took my phone forcibly and deleted the video from my phone.
v) Then they issued me traffic challan (Traffic challan no- WB[protected] for :-
a) 119/177 MVA Signal violation ( but they stopped me on green signal in running traffic).
b) 218(1) WBMVR/177 Prohibition I n Playing of Radio Etc. In motor vehicle ( which I totally deny).

My Scooter was totally out of order from December 2020 to July 2021. It was in my garage for this whole time and the condition of my scooter was utterly unrideable. Today (04-Sept-2022), I checked the https://kolkatatrafficpolice.net/ website to see if there is any pending case. I saw a case was registered on 09-Feb-2022 at 11:30 [offense- 129/194(D)MVA]. I am totally shocked after seeing this.
The case is totally incorrect/false. Case No. MWTW26574222.

This is to bring to your notice that on 29/08/2022 at 8.20 pm at Rubi Island on EM Bypass I have been given an incorrect Traffic Violation charge by Kolkata Traffic Police through a Civic Police. The signal was Green when I was driving but as the distance of the crossing was lot more, the signal might have turned red in the middle way of crossing which I didn’t notice as I was behind the car. I was stopped by Civic police for Signal Violation. I explained him the Circumstances and requested him to let me go. He charged Rs 100/- in Cash but I refused to give the Same. Thereafter, he lodges a case against me, the case no MVTW19350922 of Rs 500/-.

I request you to look into the matter and dismiss my case. I would request you to kindly verify the Fine amount as the Amount is much more and due to which the traffic Police doesn’t lodge the case and charge minimum amount in Cash from the public. If anyone refuse for the same they afraid us with the Case of huge amount.

I Kaushik Dutta, would like to raise a very severe issue against the traffic police & civic volunteer on M G Road, Sealdah near the Vidyapati Setu Flyover. Today my wife was on her way to pick my son from school at noon 2:00 PM, in our car WB02AQ 7250, she was just about to get on the Vidyapati flyover on M G Road, when suddenly a minibus WB04G 5027, speeding from the opposite side came overtaking (line violation) & purposely grazed past our car & collided with my car & damaged the right front side of the car. Immediately, my wife got down & protested, but to her surprise, the traffic police & civic volunteers at M G Road, Sealdah, misbehaved with her & asked her to continue with her journey & told her that such things happen if you are travelling in Kolkata roads. The civic volunteer also abused our driver. All this happened in front of the traffic police at the spot, but he did not utter a word or protest. The bus driver was let go Scot free. Fortunately, by god’s grace, my wife & driver was not injured.
I would like to draw your attention to the Traffic police on duty there as well as civic volunteers present. They were busy allowing the pvt buses to stand for long intervals & pick up passengers thereby creating a huge traffic jam & resulting in an erratic driving by buses & auto on M G Road, Sealdah. Who would have been responsible if any mishap happened? Who is going to bear the cost of repair? I request you to prosecute the Driver of the minibus.
Just to update you, on 22.07.22, Kolkata Police fined my car WB02AQ 7250, vide case No MEPC11050422 @ 17:38 hours for line violation. Just to mention that I was travelling to the doctor then with my mother who is recovering from both knee replacement & she was in severe pain. He requested the present civic volunteer to ask the buses in front to move, but the civic volunteer was in mute mode. My driver violated the line because of medical emergency & there is a reason for that. The traffic police & civic volunteers at M G Road, Sealdah at that time were busy entertaining the pvt buses, & minibuses as well as Autos. They did not bother to streamline the traffic & busy entertaining Pvt buses & minibuses. So are the traffic police & civic volunteers at M G Road, Sealdah just there to entertain Pvt buses, minibuses & autos. I request you to waive off this fine from my vehicle.
My earnest request to you Sir, please take appropriate action against the traffic police & civic volunteers at M G Road, Sealdah present there so that such instances are not repeated. Otherwise, one day a very severe accident may occur for which only the traffic police & civic volunteers at M G Road, Sealdah would be responsible.

With due respect and honour this is to bring to your notice that on date 22/07/2022 at 16:34 hrs on AJC BOSE ROAD/PARK STREET. My Fathers Vehicle bearing Registration Number WB02AS3702 has been Wrongfully Prosecuted under Traffic Violation Charge as Prosecuted for NO U-TURN. However there was no U-TURN Board present and all Vehicles can take U-TURN from that Space, I was driving the vehicle and was told something completely different by the Traffic Duty Officer and the Civic Volunteer that Car Turn is not possible when Vehicle from Opposite Side is rushing at High Speed after receiving Green Signal than what I have been Prosecuted for. The two cars before me was allowed to pass without stopping however I was Victimized as a Soft Target and was verbally insulted by the Traffic Duty Officer and the Civic Volunteer on Duty. The said Vehicle bearing Registration Number WB02AS3702 has been wrongfully accused vide case no-MGPC51816122 that mentions Traffic Violation Charge as Prosecuted for NO U-TURN however the Details explained by the Duty Officer and Civic Volunteer was completely different that what I have been Prosecuted for.

Being a Law-Abiding Citizen I paid the Fine amount the same day and if any Video References are available please refer to it which clearly signifies my role where I kept quite without engaging into any sort of arguments. I also ensure that by playing my part keeping my Fathers Vehicle not violating any rule as my driving record suggests. I am also enclosing herewith screenshot of the Case Message.

I look forward to win justice with all my hopes as there are Previous Instances as well where I have been Wrongfully Detained where Duty Officials misutilised their Law Enforcement Power allotted to them and this time I have Summed up the Courage and have chosen not to keep Quite and go against my Parents Advice not to put up Complaint, as it has become an everyday affair where I am been Victimized as a Soft Target.

Please Sir also ensure that common man does not become subject of KOLKATA POLICE FANATICAL RAGE where even my Parents are concerned over my Safety now as according to them POLICE can go to any extent to cover up Acquisitions against them.

I happen to be a public servant working with the Govt of W.B. Myself and my husband went to Drs Trivedi and Roy, Park Street to collect my medical test reports at 6.30 pm . My husband was driving his father's car . No - WB 02-AS-1961.
We asked the Officer in charge of traffic guard Mr Deepak, (Ph no- [protected]) stationed in front of Bhagirathi Neotia as to where to park the vehicle.

We parked at the designated location he showed us and we parked as per the location told by him at Rawdon street.

However, at 18:59 hrs I received a message that my vehicle was prosecuted for wrong parking under case no- MGPC51235722 dated 11-JUN-22.

Kindly understand that we parked based on the instructions of Mr Deepak (Ph no- [protected]) and hence we have been wrongly prosecuted.

Please withdraw the case against my car. and revoke my fine.

The signal was in amber and i had crossed the stop line and i was fined. Police had no proof and refused to even listed and seized my DL. This is unacceptable.

It is common about KOLKATA POLICE making harrasment to people's. But seriously I didn't believe that earlier today. But today in afternoon I realise about Kolkata Police surgent's stupidity and harrasment. First of all he charged me fine without any valid documents and then take money in own personal account, without any Kolkata police offical receipt. I've received a message against a wrong or other vehicle number, where we can see clearly my name spelling is wrong also my vehicle number is wrong. I think he is miss using the amount of fine to take into own account. So I deeply protest against this surgent to miss using my money without any valid documents. In this regard, I have investigated the matter & would like to state that :-
(I) On 10th May, at around 09:30, I came from my residence at Bansdroni, under Netajinagar Police Station to my office at Bharat Petroleum office at Golf Green " in my own car UP16BQ3656 ( 4 wheeler) and I remain within office premises till 6 PM during official working hour. CCTV footage is available in office.
(II) I also declare that on 10th May, I have not gone anywhere other than Residence at Bansdroni and office at Golf Green.
(III) I have one two new Wheeler WB06U3638 which was parked at my residence at Bansdroni on 10th May and I had never taken out my two wheeler vehicle on that day. Furthermore, my two wheeler vehicle has never crossed my office area since I purchased it in 2021.
(IV) No one other than me, is allowed to run my two wheeler since purchase till today.
(V) Hence statement " Your vehicle WB06U3638" found at LOUDON STREET/MOIRA STREET is totally incorrect & a wrong statement. Me or anyone never visited Loudon Street/Moira Street with my two wheeler WB06U3638 since purchase till today. I/anyone used my two wheeler to go to Kolkata. No one other than me, use two wheeler.
(VI) Requesting you to drop the case against my vehicle and confirm.
(VII) To my opinion, vehicles noted by concerned staff is incorrect or someone pasting this registration no and roaming there.
(VIII) Incase you have any evidence that my two wheeler was found at Loudon strret/Moira street, the same may be shared in my whatapps. [protected]. I will salute you.
(IX) A line of confirmation will be highly appreciated.
(X) As a law abiding person, I must respect law of the land n have high regards for KP- such sms was not desirable.

I was recently sent a fine notice of Rs. 500/ for parking my car on one side of the road to buy medicines for my father. It was on 23rdApril at 1pm when traffic was bare minimum and my car caused no obstruction to pedestrians or fellow drivers. Still I was fined under 122(IP)/177MVA. It seems the government treasury is in a sad state and is unable to provide proper salary and benefits to its employees hence the Kolkata Traffic Police have been instructed to collect extra money through this unfair traffic rule violation. They do not dare to show justice to pedestrians who are forced to walk on roads when the footpaths are occupied by immigrant shopkeepers.They fear loosing vote banks of the auto driving unions and inspite of their reckless driving and abdrupt obstruction of other vehicles they seem unaware and don't dare to fine them. So the only chickens they can catch to squeeze out their puja bonus or increments are the general public who are honest tax payers and law abiding citizens. I doubt how much fine they recover or provide justice to the family of those really affected in road accidents or from horrendous crimes. They do not really bother about maintaining law or order. They cling on the law to take benefit on their side and ensure their pockets and families are in order.

Suddenly imposed challan without any fault 3-4 times in this month- once for crossing the stop signal, when I had stopped right before the stop sign and the front of my vehicle was merely touching the line. Has literally begged the police that I am a sales person and will not be able to bear a fine of Rs. 500/ 1000 every time, with a salary of 15, 000 per month but to no avail.

I was incorrectly imposed a traffic fine which is due to i helped law to catch the culprits.

Yesterday i.e. 3rd January 22 around 6.50pm, I was driving my car from MG road towards tirpal patty / brabourne road where I observed that entire lane was jammed due to a taxi who was moving slowly since he was looking for passengers or negotiating with passenger. Now a days, mostly after lock down I have seen in various location, many of the traffic sergeants are illegally forcefully imposing traffic violation charges where their is no mistake or pretty unintentional mistakes where certainly no harm has been caused to anybody.

I would like to mention two such points .
R G Kar road, Raja Dinendra street junction. shyambazar. Case of violating 'no right turn signal', where the right arrow signal suddenly stops glowing while vehicles already had taken a right turn.. There must be some fault and people are being charged against violation.

Quest mall crossing, Parkcircus... charges being given where there is valid puc available but vehicle is due for upgradation into BS iv version. Moreover unlawful charge against faulty number plate where the vehicle has proper number plate from the showroom itself.

Lake Town Crossing where fine is being collected in cash and no receipt neither SMS are generated, post action..

Requesting the concerned authority/ department {Kolkata traffic police} to trace the guilt and take rectifiable measures for them in order to sustain faith, trust and goodwill of Kolkata traffic police.

At the same time, I do have experience of meeting the other group of staffs (sergeants )who lawfully perform their routine duties and respect the civilians who are responsible and not defaulters..

With due respect and humble submission I wish to bring to the notice of senior officials rude and arrogant behaviour of civic police posted for traffic diversion between bakultala signal and flat complex situated at the next barricade.

They don't even listen to the problem of people
