This mail regarding my reservation (3 adult and one child) on 12052 jan shatabdi expresss, pnr number - [protected], thivim (Thvm) to chiplun (Chi) and boarding at thvm., travel date 22nd dec 2016. But later on i decided to catch the train from madgaon (One station earlier to thivim) since we were staying in a hotel close to madgaon station.
I enquire in madgaon station ticket counter and they give me ticket of rs 300 for the passenger of 3 adult and one child for madgaon to thivim station and told me to take the seat as per my reservation seat no.
But the ticket checker in the train taken from us additional rs 910 for the travel from madgaon to thivim. Hence i pay total rs 2386 (Thvm to chi ticker reservation) + 300 (In madgaon station) + 910 (In train) = 3596 for the travel from madgaon to chiplun in chair car.
If i understand correctly, passenger should give the difference amount in case of more travel distance but for us due to misguide from your ticket counter representative and ticket collector in the train, we pay much more amount.
I would like your action in this matter to refund me the additional amount and provide the online option for this type of change so that passenger like us will not misguided by your great staff in future. Moreover the ticket collector asked from us some amount without receipt but i did not accept.
