    I purchased a bike in December and its driven only 3000 kms...All service's done on time...1 month ago..i got a issue in bike of pickup problem...when i visited the showroom that time was my 3rd service...when i explained my issue to the service center...they said it's not much big problem and we dont have any senior mechanic here...you come after some days...after some days i visited the showroom again...they said you go to another KTM Showroom Because we dont have any senior mechanic here...we cant help you...then i visited another showroom which was located far away from there...today i went to Ktm Showroom Srinagar...
    i explained them all my issues...i have pickup issue, , pickup loss and some other minor problems... upon Checking they said it's clutch plate problem...so they told me to replace it...so i replied them to replace it...they even added back old engine oil in it after replacing the clutch plate...if they had checked at the time of 3rd service when i visited..i wont have thes e problems...

    So now i replaced the clutch plate...still i got the pickup issue...i told them to check fuel pump...they didn't pay heed to it...they were just ignoring ...And clutch plate was ok..still they changed it and charged me for it...and they damaged my bike too...When i gave them the bike..the bike was in Ok condition...All i was having is pickup problem...but when they delivered me the bike after replacing clutch plate...i noticed my chain kit is broken...when i asked them...they misbehaved and they were not able to answer about it...just lame excuses...

    All i want to say is they charged me for nothing...and They damaged my bike

    While giving bike to them...Bike was All ok...but they damaged it..nor they Solved the pickup problem

    I want strict against them...and want my money back..And resolve my Pickup problem and other issues

    I was charged for clutch plates which they deliberately changed...still the issue wasn't solved...and they damaged my chain kit too

      I have KTM RC 125, my bike suddenly shuts down, while riding and doesn't start. This happened many times vehicle pickup through Europ Assistance india many times 1. case ID is TI[protected]. case ID is TI[protected].case ID is TI[protected].case ID is TI01193666 and i towed my bike to service center. They suggested to replace the few parts and still issue not solved. I live in Jhajjar Haryana and i gave my bike to universal Automotive Naharpur Roopa near Rajiv Chowk opp Nexa Showroom Nh8 Gurgaon Haryana 122001 service center. 4 time
      I spent more than 5000 rupees on this problem. But still not solved, . Please help me on this. very bad I feel why I choose this bike now i am feeling

        Dear Sir,
        I have purchased Duke 200 (MH12TZ6975) from Pune Center Wakadewadi in feb 2022.
        Left mirror of bike has been separated with in 2 months due to bad thread in the mirror plug, There was some settlement done by KTM Team with wire while fitting mirror before delivery
        Now it is unable to install the mirror due to there is no thread in the mirror plug.

          Good morning, i have 3 of your bikes ktm 350, 500, and the new 1290 adventure as you can see we love your product, we have purchased all these at future sport townsville queensland australia . Our recent ppurchase was the 1290 which we paid cash for, when the bike arrived the screen was damaged and meant to be replaced under warrenty, we also had paid up fornt as a package deal, touring top case [protected], touring case set [protected], crash bar kit [protected]eb, backrest [protected], on going into the shop the other day we find it closed and not relocated any whare .             It has been 3 months since I bought the Duke 125 bike from the Vadakara KTM showroom. The bike radiator did not work after the first service. The bike was taken to the Vadakara ktm showroom for repair of the radiator and the radiator was not repaired. From Vadakara ktm showroom they told us "This is a 125 bike, no need for radiator. Why radiator in 125 bike?"

              Due to being in the guarantee, the old parts were corrected and installed again.
              Service Advisor Mr. Chaudhary +91 [protected] ( service advisor ) kept the bike in the workshop for extra 1 day for testing. But even after that, the bike had to be pushed in the way.
              Had to be pulled by crane 2 times in 3 days
              Parts not Available in Store.

                Im Benson I Booked An KTM Duke 250 In Athen automobile Nagercoil on April - 17 and Ask Them To Deliver in April - 29 But They also Promise me about that Date and Buy an Full amount From Me and still now may 07 I not Get my Bike If I ask Them they saying Its take 10 more days but June - 5 I have an Emi Date to pay First payment to Bank

                  Complain 1 : Waiting period exceed half year. Booked 2021 Nov till now haven't receive my bike

                  Complain 2 : Salesman feedback estimate Jun2022 will get the bike, unfortunately is 2021 old version colors & spec bike...(what ???)

                  Complain 3 : I paid new version bike price (much higher than 1st batch), but get a old model of bike.

                  Please help & assist let KTM international know about this in ASEAN incident.

                      After 1st service i have identified my bike stops running when i pull in the clutch in any gear. And had starting trouble it would crank for 10 sec and cuts off. i have visited the service center

                      After 1st service i have had a series of issues with my bike.

                      * I received low oil pressure error around 4000km on my odo. Just 3000km after 1st service when i visited the OMR service centre. I have been informed that my oil pressure sensor was checked and changed.
                      * I received the error again after 50km. I visited again they kept the bike for 2 days and told me the bike is ready. When i visited to collect the bike. I received a bill amount of 1700+rs. when i refused someone on the phone from adyar showroom told me that if you will not pay we would take the new oil which was changed and we will put the old oil inside and topup with some oil to solve the issue ( I was not given a choice or informed but, i was forced to pay in this situation ). As a professional using the old oil should not be a option, fixing a problem which came after 1st service should be a part of fixing not making the customer pay for their mistake.

                      * Then i had issues with bike starting up, went to showroom 1st time - They removed and tightened the wire to battery
                      * 2nd time - I went to showroom, they did some update and told me it woul de fixed.
                      * 3rd time - when i was in service centre it happened in front of everybody, i had to leave the bike for 2 days and checked something then told me it would not happen again.
                      * 4th time - i visited service centre, it happened again in front of them. Bike was in service centre for 4 or 5 days, they said some wire was not connected properly and the problem is resolved.

                      * After all the problem has been resolved - My bike was not performing as my friend's ( Which was purchased on my recommendation in initial days ) -Poor pickup, Low mileage, jerking, hard shifting - I took my bike to ashok nagar service centre. They confirmed it is not performing optimal and checked and changed - spark pulg, air filter, fuel filter and i ended up paying 2000+ rupees.

                      * Because of the above my service interval is messed up, I ended up going to the service centre multiple time leaving my work for so many days, Waiting for days unable to use my bike when i needed it, ended up spending more money to travel back and forth between service centre to home.

                      Expenses : Cab to home whenever i had to leave the bike in service centre, Petrol expense, multiple bills paid

                      This is my second bike i purchased from KTM ( Full cash paid ) and i am completely unsatisfied with the experience. Unable to trust the bike to ride to locations which might be not very accessible incase of any issue. I would really appretiate if somebody can actually lookinto this complaint and contact me for any more information, I have the bill which was paid, photo and video of the mentioned issues.

                      if no action is taken the above issue will be shared in my instagram page 600i_twins which has average view of 500K for reels.

                          Hi,

                          I have been using ktm duke 200 since 10th of October 2018 and it’s been 3 + plus years. Since the day I bought my bike I regularly follow the service protocols Which has been mentioned by KTM india as per the manual and service centre and I have been giving my bike for service and other monsoon checks till date to Anna Salai ktm service centre only. I have all the documents of the service history with me. The problem is recently before few days back I came to hear some noise in my engine and I directly took the bike to Anna Salai service centre dated (04.02.2022). Their the service advisor checked the bike and said the bike engine got weak so to check the engine you need to pay 30, 000 rupees and I seriously got shocked, that service advisor said this just like that. When I asked for the reasons he said you would’ve used the bike rashly that’s why. Seriously….!!! Is this the answer I got from the renowned bike brand service centre I mean seriously…!!! I mean ktm engine has the lifespan of only 3 years or 25, 000km seriously…!!!. And the most shocking part is I have been giving my bike for service, monsoon checks, battery change and even to change the light bulb directly to ktm service centre only. Even though the cost of the service and labour is high I didn’t hesitate to give my bike their. And now they’re saying my bike engine got weak just like that. Even though I followed all the protocols and maintained my bike properly my engine got weak means, then the lifespan of ktm engine is only 3 years…!!! Am seriously cannot believe this. The service advisor checked the bike and told the engine is weak immediately and the charges would be 30k I am surprised with the reply how can he immediately say the engine got weak if so then is there a issue with ktm bikes engine I am really surprised and shocked to hear this and such a worst reason he told me was I might have driven the bike rashly seriously I am pissed of with such a comment. If the ktm duke 200 engine lifespan is only 3 years then please take my bike as per the current market value so that I cannot waste more money on ktm service. So I am drafting this mail to ktm india so that I get a proper reply and resolution. I have 3 bikes out of which ktm is my all time favourite. Which surprisingly is making such issues.

I complaint that issue to the nearest dealer but they are not responded their (Nagercoil) way of handling costomer is very poor. I feel not good for purchased this brand of bike. Please think twice before to buy a KTM bike...

                                    My 2017 1290 superduke broke a frame on 1 off the small pipes in frame cracked through. Bike has never been in an accident or even fallen over. Went to local dealer in South Africa (Centurion Branch) had a looked and said looked liked manufacturer fault. Bike had full service history with ktm till 2019 the after service history with another bike shop. Know dealer say ktm will pay 70 percent of frame and I have to pay the 30 percent and also have to pay the full amount for labour which is almost halve of total bill for a defect or inferior part not my fault? Please assist

                                      Sub: Complaint regarding my Duke 390 KTM bike purchased on 5th August 2021

                                      This is to bring your kind attention that we purchased KTM 390 Duke bike on 5th August at a cost of Rs. 3, 38, 000/- [ three lakhs thirty-eight thousand only] paying cash by account transfer on my son’s name Aravind at KTM showroom at Kolathur. The details are given below.
                                      1. MMT/IMPS/[protected]/KHIVRAJ AUT/HDFC[protected]Rs.2000/-
                                      2. MMT/IMPS/[protected]/KHIVRAJ AUT/HDFC[protected]Rs.198000/-
                                      3. MMT/IMPS/[protected]/KHIVRAJ AUT/HDFC[protected]Rs.138000/-

                                      The copy of the invoice and insurance are attached below.

                                      After registration, the bike was handed over to me. We have not gone long ride during this period. After 1st service, there was frequent problems with ECU/ HLU/ headlight on while ignition is off/oil indicator on failure and many times, the engine switched off during running and causing narrow escape from accident [Behind there was highspeed vehicle which was about to hit]. The bike was taken for service by Mr. Sudhakar [Technician]on 18th sep 2021[Saturday] and the same day, the bike was returned with minor service.
                                      The next day[19th Sep-2021], when my Son, Aravind took the bike for a little long ride, the same problem occurred and the bike engine switched off completely at ECR, 20km from my home. Somehow managed to bring the bike [bike wt: ~180kg] to my home. The error/the image of the failure [Dated19thSep-2021]is attached below.
                                      The nextday on 20th Sep-2021, Mr. Sudhakar sent another technician to bring it to their service at Kolathur. The bike was taken to Adyar-service centre initially and I came to know that they refused to do service at Adyar. Finally the next day on 21st Sep-2021, the bike was taken to Kolathur service centre. The following spare was changed for this new bike.
                                      I want to know why the spare was changed for new bike ?

                                      After a week time, on 25th Sep-2021, the bike was given to us. Again when my Son, Aravind took the bike on 03rd October to 50-100km distance, the same problem occurred and engine switched off, throttle not working and this time also, my Son and his friend escaped narrowly in the ECR road [Behind, there was a high speed car was coming and the bike stopped in the middle of the road].
                                      The error image is attached below dated 03rd Oct-2021.

                                      Then we parked the bike in one of the roadside shop and my Son Aravind came to my home. I called the Mr. Manoj-Manager-Kolathur show room, to bring the bike from 100km distance to their service centre.

                                      Now I don’t have the confidence on this bike and their service and have doubt that there could be some manufacturing defect in the bike. Also with sudden failure of engine, I fear that I and my Son may endanger anytime in road accident. So I request KTM to refund my money at the earliest in order to enable to buy other brand bike.
                                      Requesting for quick reply for this on or before 11th of Oct-2021 or we want to go for legal action in this regard.

                                        Worst management I have seen in my entire life, manager is totally unprofessional and below are some points that will share the problems that I faced while buying the bike and owning it for a year.

                                        1. First of all they took longer time to deliver the around 3 months and before booking the bike they promised to deliver it within 15days.

                                        2. Once they delivered the bike, for getting the bike registration in the RTO they took more that 3 months which created lot of problems for me, and after informing the KTM manager every time, he will make some excuse every time. Worst experience. And when the registration plates arrived, the manager asked me for extra charges for the bike registration number plates, which I never experienced from the other motor bike brands. And after handing me over the number plates, manager asked me to fix those plates on my bike by myself.

                                        3. Now I met with an accident, so bike repairing is taking more than 2 months, they are saying that they don't have spare parts available and it will take more time to get those parts. I don't understand why the government allow such company to do sales in our country which cannot provide proper service.

                                        It has been waste of time and money since I bought this bike.

                                        I am not sure if anyone will read my concerns about KTM brand and dealers.

                                        But these are my bad experience, and I have to live with my mistakes now, and the mistake was buying KTM Duke 390.

                                        Worst support from KTM dealer and manager
                                        KTM Sportmotorcycle customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
