I send my bike 300 km to Ongole for service and when pickup the oil was leaking.On another time the bike is just service and the engine light is burning all the way.The mechanic said that the bike have electrical problem.He come to my place and ask me to pay for the fault off KTM because the cannot fixed it.Then I fixed by myself.I dont know what they do but I find one wire to cooling sensor is cut.I send my bike again to them because I see the battery cable is broken and I repair this and I see they break the holder for the air filter and I buy new one and when I send my bike for service I ask them to change it.The bike came back and the same day the display screen stop working.Did I have to paid to learn the people to practices on my bike or is this a professional service that ktm cannot provide.The job card number is PBJC[protected] DATE[protected] .pLEASE i WANT MY BIKE FIXED.([protected])

    I submitted my bike 15-20 days ago and had claimed insurance regarding a mishap.
    The staffs have not been providing any service and the bike is rotting in the centre.
    It's really a bad thing regarding KTM's name.
    The bike has been rotting since then. With no major damages, I find it rather annoying to have bought a KTM and not some other brand. I see forward to have my bike back in a couple of days.

      'Exceptionally decpetive', 'Opportunistic', 'Carelessness', 'Two Faces'... these are some of the words that come to my mind when I think of the folks at KTM, Hi-tech City branch. Manager of the showroom, Lalit or Gyan (as he goes by many names) needs a special mention. As bad as my fortune could get to, I had bought my Duke 200 here on 24th of November last year from this showroom and at the time of the purchase itself, I handed over 1000 bucks to him towards vehicle registration charges. Almost two months had passed and it's temp registration had expired a month ago, on 25th of December. Inspite of my repeated reminders to this gentleman here, he just sweet talks me and sits mum. He doesn't even extend the courtesy of providing me with reasons whatsoever behind this very late registration process, which is again totally unheard of. The aspect of professionalism stems from the level of clarity maintained from both the parties - the customer and the salesman. And there is no clarity at all on what's happening here.

      Now, as I try to coerce him to get the registration done as early as possible, he balks and asks me to do the registration myself after a wait of 2 months. Would you call this as a fair deal?

        Firstly i have bought KTM RC 200 during jan 2016 and i was well satisifed with features of the bike and its performance, but the service centre at kakinada andhra pradesh was not at all good...due to there bad sevice my bike was totally spolied within 8 months...and after that i was impressed with new model of DUKE 200 and reselled my bike at KTM showroom kakinada and brought the new bike DUKE 200 in same showroom ...but now the same attitude they are showing..they are not servicing the bike properlly that means when we are giving certain complaints about the bike during the servicing...the faults are not at all rectifing ...even tht they are charging very very huge amount for the sevice...and many thing is that the peoples who are working there are not giving any respect towards the customers...please take the charge on them...IF NOT...we hope for the good news

          I purchased my duke 200 on april 2016 it's 9 months and my rear suspension start leaking when i went to service center they told that we will order and it will take 20 days to reach the parts after requesting many times they told at least 1 week it will take so if it is possible please provide the parts to service stations faster so that customer will not face problem.

            Hi ktm,

            I have been using duke 200 since 2015-feb. Recently moved to hyderabad from banglore. Last week i had a problem with bike that it was showing low battery. So i took it to the nearest ktm service station i. E., madhapur on 20-jan-2017. The technician checked the bike and confirmed coil was damaged and need to change it. I asked them will that be under warranty, they said no with out even checking.in fact the owner of the service center said they don't have a facility to check warranty of the bike online, and that is a shame to ktm. So as i lost my booklet i had to pay the amount which was rs.1745.

            After leaving from there, just to clarify my doubt i called up my regular service center technician and and explained whole scenario and he told me that induction coil is under warranty for two years from the date of purchase, since my bike is still under warranty and yet they charged me without even giving a try to check it online.

            So they cheated me for gaining 1745/- that is how ktm hyderabad service stations operating!!

            Its sad to see such premium brand's service station is nothing helpful but cheating, i didnt feel this way as long as i was at bangalore.

            So one final question to ktm when you have such a great reputation, why do you have to hire such cheap people are you not getting enough through bikes and spares??

            People there at Madhapur service station are Pathetic thier only aim is to gain money from the customer.
            They are not helpful.
            Yes the service here is very bad.

              Dear KTM,

              I am the owner of KTM rc 390 REG no DL3SDC1788 i am facing the problem in engine continuously. Even though my Workshop has change engine parts 2 times but the problem is not resolved. Recently i have my bike got stuck while i was @130kmph. There is a risk of losing my life due to the mechanical failure.
              Please take care of this problem.

                Sir, I have ktm duke 200 in tamil nadu I will service in pondicherry ktm service center and they will not responsible any thing the service is bad and they cannot submit any bill to. And I call any time to service they lately gave till days 10-15 they will give to me If not do anything and they bill the cost above 7000 and I told oil change and technical fault will check they will not doing anything the worst behaviour of the service center and I want to go trichy for my service

                  Engine broke into peices in the middle of the highway... Very bad experience with ktm. Never seen such thing before in my life. Stuck in the middle of the road.. Not sure what has to be done now.. And who takes the responsibility now? M not able to connect with the road assistance. This complaint has to he taken on a very very serious note. I need my bike to be repaired without taking a single penny from me. As i ve always got my bike serviced only at ktm authorised service center.

                    I'm from India, using my Duke 200 for about one and half years and before one month I faced 5th gear failure problem under my warranty period then I send my vehicle in to Ktm authorised dealer in India (country) Kerala(state)thrissur( district) and now it is about 1 month ago I didn't get my vehicle back... I really disappointed with your Ktm Service. They are not ready to give me a proper date that they can fix my vehicle problem. All times they are telling excuses when I contacting them. Now I'm going to make a petition in court against your poor service and improper customer handling.i think you will make a proper action against this poor service... So I humbly request to make a proper action on my problem...

                      I have changed my suspension once already again the suspension has been got a complaint .what kind of quality Does the Ktm companies produce .i have almost changed all my parts of the bike after my purchase I had many many issues like radiator complaint front suspension complaint battery complaint disc pads etc I need my suspension to me made ok using warranty

                        Hello Ktm!! Being a highly advanced motorbike there should not be such issues like engine oil leakage, front forks oil leakage and disturbing sound when the rider applies the front brake.after so long indian motorbike enthusiasts got access to such good bikes easily available at an affordable price.If ktm is thinking that in that price what else do they need when there so much available to them YES we thank ktm for giving us so much in that price but those avobe mentioned issues are not something to be cherished.we want good quality and realibility we want ktm to solve all the issues which are very common in low class bikes like i mean the DUKE'S and RC, S should not have those issues.we will happily spend some extra money for good quality materials and realibility as we all love ktm but this love is soon going to be turned into hatred if ktm dont respond.The best bikes regarding quality and problems are YAMAHA and HONDA they use so good quality materials in their bikes that it becomes difficult to find any issues in their bikes. They are so durable they hardly give any major problems.We hope that KTM will use good quality materials in their bikes and make them less problematic and listen and solve the issues as soon as possible in their current and upcoming bike which is the DUKE 390 2016 and DUKE 390 2017 and we hope that KTM will never let their customers down.

                          Hello,

                          I bought KTM 390 duke Reg-MH04 FN7146 from Vasai KTM Maharastra on dated 27th Dec 2013 .During it's regular maintenance checkup at Vasai service, in the month of November 2015, it was diagnosed by Service Mechanic Hari Pal that silencer assembly needs to be changed under Warranty.As there was still one month left for warranty to be over,
                          I was assured by their supervisor that this would be done under warranty and he would give me a call in next few days.
                          After that assurance i kept on taking status of replacement during my each service visit to Vasai service center, but i was only assured that it would be be done, we have placed the order for replacement.

                          Now, there is a new supervisor in Vasai Service center and he coming up with questions that i am not sure what was promised ???????
                          See, i am not a guy who would do bad mouthing with them, i bought the bike from same service center and had some faith on KTM as a brand, but things were really disappointing. FELT like cheated !!!

                            Dear sir/madam

                            On[protected] i purchased a ktm duke 200 bike from your dealer ‘deedi bajaj, vazhuthacaud, thiruvananthapuram.
                            (Reg. No : kl-01-df temp 1685).

                            Unfortunately, the vehicle has not been satisfactory because it is having engine noise, fork noise, engine overheating, front disk brake noise, disturbed gear shifts and also the back seat was not fixed.

                            First complaint was reported on the very next day of delivery[protected] and was taken to ktm service centre at nedumangaud on[protected] and to ktm service centre, deedi automobiles, ayurveda college, trivandrum on[protected]. But the problems were not at all resolved.
                            The vehicle was again taken to ktm service centre, attingal on[protected] & ktm service centre at nedumangaud on[protected]. Your mechanics at each service centre inspected my vehicle and agreed to fix the problem under warranty, however, when i collected the vehicle and started using it again, the problem was still there.

                            I would appreciate it if you could organise to have the problem fixed within 3 days time. I’m sorry to say that this unethical attitude of your dealer and service centres has also caused me nominal damages.

                            I look forward to settle this matter amicably. If, however, the matter is not satisfactorily resolved by 3days time, i will consider taking further action to resolve the complaint through the consumer disputes redressal commission.

                                I have ktm duke 200 and i make facing probleme of engine oil leakage 1 year, i went so many time in ktm service center but i never get that packing that packing need to be done for engine oil leakage probleme.

                                They told me always that we will solve this probleme now and it will not leakage again but that is never happened.
                                I asked them to give me garanty o[censored]r work that engine oil will not leakage after this servicing but they refuse me to give me like that any commintment.

                                Why this engineers cant do that packing which need to be done. I am frusted of this all problem and this service center. If you dont have soluction on bikes all this problem then stop selling bikes and first find the soluction on engine oil leakage probleme because i saw so many owner of ktm facing same probleme and they have not get any solution on this probleme

                                  I went to your service centre located in Kirti Nagar in delhi for the replacement of several parts like wind shild, side inner and outer pannel and more becoz that all was broken by a theft. When i talked your executives, they told me that we dont have a spare parts and we have to Order and it will take atleast 10 to 15 days to reach at this Service Centre and now i want to ask you that Why the hell you opened your's service centre in india, if they dont have an stock of spare parts.
                                  My impression of your Company has been tarnished.I trust this is not the way That Awful Company wishes to conduct business with valued customer.

                                    I was unable to register my vehicle due to manufacturing date is different from its chassis number. the vehicle inspector has told me for getting a correction letter and the showroom owners and staff refused it. i am really in a bad situation kindly find a way to make it clear and i demand for a complete free register of vehicle and service due to oil leakage from the engine just from 3000 km

                                        I own KTM RC 200 from past one Year, from the day I took it from showroom it has multiple issues, within a month and a half, even in a normal city ride, my front suspension gave problem, they told me its wear and tear and I to pay money and repair it, which i did not mind, after that bike started running heavy though servicing was done in time, it felt like engine oil has not been changed for a ages, typical feeling of riding bike like that with no agility and sharpness which KTM is know for, after 8 months, I decide to go for a trip, it was a ghat section road, my gear foot peg got stuck at 6th gear and that too in a down road, i was travelling at night, i nearly meet with an accident, right after that next month, my bike fan stopped working and i Gave to show room at Khivraj motors, Kasturba Road, near MG road, (Bangalore) technician over there took close to 3 to 4 days to fix that, after that fairing started giving rattling noise, i requested technician they simply avoided my request saying they will do it in next service, I am not telling them to do for free, I am paying them money and labour charge is included in each and every service and they don't have authority to tell me that, after all those messed up situation, finally i decided to go for a trip from Bangalore to OOty, after i reached ooty, they mono shock suspension gave me problem, the oil started licking from the suspension and it became very loose, and when i tried to ride the bike it became very bumpy, some how i had to get my bike to Bangalore, it normally take 5 hours to reach Bangalore from Ooty, because of suspension issue, it took me 11 hours, and this time as well on down road i near met with an accident, I want to raise my concern as a highest priority case, as I nearly lost my life twice because of this bike mechanical issue, If anyone is seeing this complaint, I would request not to neglect my case, I am fed up with KTM, it was like my dream bike, but now it has become like a nightmare to me, i spent close to twenty thousand on this bike for servicing and other issues within a year, yet I get this kind off screwed up bike, some time i feel i wasted my hard earn money on this piece of garbage, i feeling with crushing it and throw into a garbage, everyone recommended me CBR 250, but i was stubborn to go with KTM, and now I am paying that price for this worthless
