I bought a Kutchina Hob that has not been working properly since the day it was bought. Not only is it making cooking impossible for my elderly mother, but it is also a major safety hazard. But the company is so shockingly callous that they could not give a damn. Some of their staff have been downright nasty, Strongly request that this company's business practices should be looked into by appropriate authorities.

    False Promise and Unprofessionalism of Kutchina
    4/10/2015 : Sanjoy Ganguly and Rumki from the Kutchina Nagerbazar outlet visited my premises, took a look at my kitchen and made suggestions.
    What did they tell me?
    1. They assured me that it usually takes 45 working days to complete a kitchen. But they would consider and try to complete it within October.
    2. That it would be a semi-modular kitchen as the kitchen slab already existed.
    3. That I would get a good deal if I closed it that day itself.
    4. That once the measurement is taken, the customized units would be made in their factory.
    5. That it would take 2-3 working days to fit the units to complete the kitchen.
    6. That anytime during this I can make up my mind about the chimney and since it would be part of this I would get a good deal.
    7. That I have to pay 50% of the cost that day; 40 % of the cost when the units are delivered and the remaining 10% after the work is completed.
    8. That the assembling and fitting would start only after the second cheque clears.
    What did they not tell me?
    1. That semi-modular means that we would able to see the floor from the bottom drawers.
    2. That I have to keep things on the floor wherever there are shelves.
    3. That they would not consider my convenience when they send anyone to work
    4. That once the sale was through nobody from Kutchina would be in touch to check if I was happy with the work.
    5. That no supervisor would visit to check how the work was progressing, whether the fitters had all the necessary material etc.
    What actually happened?
    The Marketing Officer took the first cheque on the 4th and assured me that he would get it done within October. My order number : 15162890
    28/10/2015 : the units were delivered to my place followed by silence. When I called on 30th, I was told that by Ms. Sriparna they were planning to call me and henceforth I would need to correspond with her as she looks after the post-sales work. She promised to send someone to collect the second cheque.
    31/10/2015: An officer came. As I was in a hurry, I had drawn cash from bank and handed it over to him and he gave me a receipt.
    I understood that since it was cash that I handed over, by Kutchina’s logic work should start immediately and I should get my new kitchen before Diwali. But this was followed by a period of silence.
    03/11/2015: I called Kutchina to check and I was told that the workers were busy elsewhere and my work would have to wait. I was told I would get a call back with dates.
    06/11/2015 : I finally got a call on telling me that they would start the work only after Diwali and Bhai Duj were over. I agreed because this was a period of festivity and everyone had a right to enjoy them.
    Bhai Duj got over on 13th Nov and I assumed that work would start from 14th Nov. I had waited long enough, definitely more than a month from the date of the first cheque.
    No communication came through and on Monday, 16th Nov at 11:55am I got a call from Kutchina to tell me fitters were on their way to start the work. It was only logical for Kutchina to get in touch with the customer before and tell them and not take customers for granted. It was as if, Kutchina telling me, “You wanted a kitchen, we would give you that at our convenience and you have to make arrangements accordingly.” It was not a convenient day for me so I refused, followed by altercation with Ms. Sriparna as she insisted that I started the work that day. It was agreed that work would start the next day i.e. 17th Nov.
    1. The fitters have worked from 17th to 20th November. They came to work on 21st also but they could not as they did not have all the material. So they informed me that whenever they get the material they would come and work. I was very unhappy when I discovered that bottom shelves needed me to keep things on the floor despite having a modular kitchen. When I mentioned to Mr. Sanjoy Ganguly that my earlier modular kitchen experience in Hyderabad was not like this, he said that is how it is with a brand like Kutchina. When I spoke to Rumki she said, “I am sorry, I will speak to Sir.” But no solution or communication have come through. They are just good with empty words.
    In my case Kutchina has gone back on their promise more than once.
    I am left with an unfinished kitchen which I cannot use. No one from the company has got in touch and apologized. I do not know whether they will come to work today or when they will come again to complete the work. As a working lady I cannot plan my day.
    Kutchina officials actually paint a very rosy picture during sales and display the most unprofessional attitude possible, once the sale is done. The whole attitude is as if they are doing me a big favour by installing a semi-modular kitchen.

      My name is Somnath Acharya. I have purchased 2 Vouge chimney and the same was installed in the last wk of June'15. I purchased the same from Jessore Road branch [ESSAR Marketting].

      My first servicing is due as 4 month is past. I called up the service center several times for booking my Servicing request. But the response was not taken care off till date.

      First time I called on 24th Oct'15 and the person asked me to contact on 27th Oct'15 as the service team was in leave. I did called on 27th around 1:30 PM. Person took the phone and told me it's lunch hour and ask me to call after 1 hour. I did call after 3 PM and gave details to book. The concern told me that my request will be resolved in 3-4 days time. But I didn't receive any call.

      I called again on 2nd Nov'15 around 2.45 PM. Again someone picked and said its lunch hour, and I should call after 1 hour. I was amazed to see that every time I called its lunch hour and they have 1 hour break for the same. Again they took my request and ask me to wait for 7 days. Till today I didn't receive any call.

      On 7th Nov'15 I called the customer care and booked my request again. Docket : SH/207/1115

      Till now the service is not done. Yesterday service persona contacted me and gave a time for today 12 noon. But surprisingly when I called the person today he went to Midnapur and not completed the assigned job.

      This is a rediculas company. Just fed up with this company.

        I had bought boxes and chimney from the store of New Alipore outlet...jst after two months time the things started to come out and when a person came to fix it... named Soumen...broke the granite top!! I want a full compensation for my loss!! Its really abominable... this was not really expected... i hope the complaint comes into use... look into the matter asap!

VOUGE S/S DEAR SIR, This is not a complaint but an intimation to you how your service center is working and harassing your customers. Hope you will take care to improve so that in future it does not repeat. My above kutchina chimney is under 3yrs contract, and due to be cleaned and check by 06.10.15.Accordingly I approached your service center for doing so about four times by telephone at [protected] and every time receiver dockets my call but not sending the service man . Even ON LAST SATURDAY 31.10.15 I reminded your service center in the morning to send your serviceman, still nobody turned-up for the same and I was waiting at home in vain throughout the full day. I wonder that for last one month ie, for 5 no of Saturdays your service center could not send any body for the job for which I have paid in advance. May I know why this has happened this time and my chimney is very very much dirty now. Is it expected ? I generally requested your service centre to send service man on Saturdays only because I remain at home that day to attend him. Other days I remain at office. Since my wife is too old, who remains alone at home the other days, cannot attend them. Once again I request you to send your service man on next Saturday( 7th NOV’15) at 4 pm positively, when I will be at home with a prior intimation.               I bought a chimney Stanza SS 033/22/3873/22318045 on 23/05/15. . I have not got even the first service . (docket no-314915) I received a call about 6th oct, 15 that they come for servicing on 10th oct. The date was pre scheduled for a tour to assam and meghalaya so i request her to rescheduled the date. Till then i am waiting for their response.

                I have purchased one ARC model Kutchina on 27/12/2011 with ID number[protected]. The same product is under AMC till now. Unfortunately the service of the AMC is bad turn to worst day by day. Initially the service engineer visited my house every quarterly but last 6(six) I have facing lot of problem due to callous attitude of the service provider. They must visit the customer house every quarterly without any break. Please take appropriate step in this regard.

                    I have purchased one chimney ( customer code :[protected] on 21.05.2015 from Bajoria Appliances Pvt Ltd. Why selling the item the salesman told me I will get my free servicing from my residential area Berhampore. After four months when I needed service I call customer care but till today nobody came to service the chimney. Today when I contact local kutchina distributor he refuse to give me the free servicing because I have not purchased the item from him & he suggest me to mail you. Please do the needful.                       MACHINE CODE No. C[protected] has a problem with its outlet. Smoke is not passing through pipe and pipe provided to the product has also been damaged. We also need AMC for the product.Product purchage date is 17.11.2014 for following adress-

                        Sir, Milon Robidas came from Kutchina to service Dewdrops DLX water purifier on 9th Sept 2015, during service he broke one internal part of the purifier, he assured that he would replace the same within 3 or 4 days, but he did not do so, I called him, he replied that the part is not yet received from Guwahati by him today it is[protected], 12 days completed, he neither contacts me nor replaces the part. As a result of which I and my family members have to suffer for drinking water.Kindly take some necessary action to solve the issue.                           I have Bought A product of Kutchina called R.O. Purika.After its first servicing the machine is not working properly.i.e. not producing water at all.I have lodge a complaint on 17 sep 2015 but it was unattended till now.i.e. 21 sep 2015.However they promise to do servicing in 48 hours.The docket no. of the complaint is[protected].They are misguiding the people everytime.No one is giving exact reason of this failure.Therefore I request you to take some essential steps for this.The phone No. of branch is [protected]/[protected].

                            The undersigned purchased a hob three burner from your company through Bajoria Appliances (P) ltd HB3BG DLX[protected] dt.11.05.2014. During the warranty period itself good no of complaints had to be registered with the service deptt of the company and were attended. Immediately after expiry of warranty period two of its burners become non functional and service personnel giving a huge estimate for repair . It is very surprising that the product purchased with high trust at good price is creating so much problem leading to my so much of suffering. I have lost confidence on your product and request you to take it back with due compensation to me. Despite my escalating the complaint to higher level, no response from the company.

                              Dear Sir/Madum,

                              Last year I've bought a 2 burner gas oven and a chimney from your Tinsukia(Assam) branch through your sales team member Mr.Ujjal Nandi. since then product has been working satisfactory . especially, no disturbance not yet get from your chimney but one minor complain got from your gas oven that one of the on-off switch outer cover has been broken, so I made a call to your sales & service person Mr. Ujjal Nandi in the month of July'15 but till today nobody has come and solved the issue. Therefore, I'd made two/three call to that guy but he simply replies that the spares not yet reached at Tinsukia when it will reach the issue will be solved. I think this is the lame excuse because the company like Kutchina doing business all over india with good customer respects and satisfaction through their service. Hence, my humble request to you kindly do your needful as early as possible.

                                My consumer id 13603499 invoice no 545 i have purchased 11 months back but service engineer come to my house & cannot solve the problem, he told me that one parts to be change several times i have lodged complain over phone to jorhat assam service centre but now they ae not receive my telephone. Now machine is out of order since last 1 month kindly change this machine immediately

                                  I have bought a Kutchina chimney On 27TH July 2015 from Sodepur Kutchina center-AB Continental, west bengal; model- Smartec and the machine code number is[protected]. After installation we noticed that one of the oil collector is not working proper rather the oil is laying down from the machines body.We contacted the Sodepur center and after watching this, they changed the blower but still the problem...

                                  Dear Sir, I, ms Swapna Nath, have done an AMC for my kitchen chimney on 22.9.12 for three years. the contract period is 22.07.12 to 21.07.15. details are as below: Name: Swapna Nath Address: 48, Narendra Banerjee Sarani, Konnagar, dist : Hoogly, West Bengal Dealer name: Kitchen Gallery address: 162c, Criper Road, 2nd floor, Knnagar, Hoogly, west Bengal contract form no.: 3618 Model name: Vogue all the 5 servicing have been done as per the contract. but 6th servicing is pending from July. i have called and requested for the 6th servicing for at least three times. every time they told us that they would take necessary step but did not do anything and the 6th servicing is still pending.ontop of that they have done next AMC in advance. I am your customer since 2007. We never experienced such harassment before. This type o[censored]nprofessional attitude is not acceptable from a company like Kutchina.                                   My name is Munshi Sahabuddin. I have subscribed the Kutchina AMC for three years starting from[protected]. Docket number: 2304, CIN:U51505WB2000PTC091826. Service representative was Abhishek Sarkar. Product: Chimney Vogue.

                                  On the same day service representative cleaned up the chimney but Oil container was supposed to replace on the same day. After that we have contacted many times and representative visit were scheduled three times. However no one came as of date.


                                  Now the next date is scheduled on 17-October for which call was logged on 1st October with docket # [protected].

                                  Can you please look into this and ensure that the servicing and oil container replacement as scheduled? Appreciate your response on this matter.
