[Resolved] Snapdeal — Refund or Replacement issue | |||
Smamsung NP535U4c was purchased on EMI through HDFC credit card payment. On receiving the laptop it was found to have low battery backup which was immediately reported by mail. in three days it stopped working and as per direction of Snapdeal, Samsung was contacted. Samsung technician declared it not working as no display, and motherboard problem. Thsi was immediately informed to snapdeal and they suggested to return the product. It was received by Snapdeal as per their record on 14th Sept. Technical report of Samsung was also sent to them as per their requirement. They claim that the laptop is working when they received it! I have asked for replacement or refund as it is a damaged piece. Called them almost every day, even more than once in a day. All the time same reply that it is under consideration and to wait for '48 hours', which never got over. As per their claimed Trustpay policy they would have returned money without any question asked, whereas I have also submitted Samsung technical report. If they do not resolve issue in 30 days they have to refund money but that also does not seem to happen. Every time a different attendant at the call centre takes up different issue of the matter - like of battery or its working or documentation or 'its under consideration' Supervisors do not attend, emails are not replied. I was told today by snapdeal that they will now consider for refund and though they continue to sell the same product on their site, they said that it is not available so can not replace! I had short listed it with much pain and if i want it now, i have to pay about 4000 more (:
