Lava Mobiles — Charging of exhorbitant amount during warranty. | |||
I purchased a Lava Z66 model mobile phone through Amazon (Order no.[protected] & Invoice no. IN-41 dt. 22/08/2020 for Rs. 8499/-. Due to poor quality (very thin & fragile) the display glass developed cracks since beginning and finally got broken in the corner. On contacting Lava's authorised service centre M/s Vishwin Solutions, Ambattur they demanded an amount of Rs. 3800/-, a little less than half the cost of the phone. Even after requesting through many mails they are adamant in not reducing the repair cost. Thus, with poor quality material of parts not covered under warranty they cheat customer in the name of spare parts. Kindly intervene for replacing my display free of cost or at a nominal cost. J.
