Kinldy check the mails which is sent to all parts of the world but the problem still presist...
LENOVO products are very CHeap investing on this products its like throwing stones on the SSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH_______TTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

Unfortunately i have purchased LENOVO desktop on 10.08.2007 with in shot span i have called customer service several times for locking various complaint as below

1. No Input signal
2. Speaker Noice
3. Mother Board Problem
4.All types of problem *

All these problems not rectified ""YET"" i have invested 34000 rupees in buying this crap, form the day i bought this crap i am facing all these problem. I have spoke to several mangers my issue not fixed. Service center people came to my house several time they took my CPU changed verything still the problem remains. I am not satisfied with the product and customer service eventhough changing mother board 3times still the problem remains the same. we are living in customer oriented world but the product has all types of crap which i havn't seen, if i get a survay for this product i will surely rate ""0"".
Kindly give attention to this Mail if not i will surely file a case/complaint in consumer court.

Dear Triveni,

In records shows Planner Board changed once but do you know without proper record they have tried changing planner boards twice they brought 2 to 3 board spending 4 to 5 hrs substituting things once they found it cannot be rectified in my house they took it to the service center which has reflected in records. So try to believe customers rather pointing which is true and which is false.

I Purchese a Lenovo Desktop PC, before 3 monts, I am not satified with your prouduct. PCs pawor Supply not working/burnt

Check your stars... Some PCs don't go well with its owners if there is a mismatch in horoscope. Try buying a new PC at an auspicious date.

I purchased a destop of lenovo whose detail are MONITER CRT LENOVO 17 inch flat 1n[protected] DesLen 4EQ-L926891 and it is purchased by name Mr. B Prasad. I purchased it on 8-jan -2008. and after just using for 1yr and 8 months it start giving problem. Its problem is that itsscreen is vibrating. Your service man came to see and he told that picture tube is having problem and if I do MC then he will repair it ad will give 1 yr warrenty, its ok. But if computer of such a big company will start giving problem in such a short time then why should we purchase such a scrap. I needed proper action against it and some compansation in repairing charges with proper warrenty.

    I’m a student, ... i purchased a lenovo y[protected]AQ laptop in April 2007. up to one year there was ok type ...but as soon as warranty period got over….., suddenly it’s DVD writer stops working and it is not able to read any CD……, my two other friends got lenovo laptop at same time….they r also suffering with same problem ……. I think there is some fault with the lenovo products.
    Now we r not recommending lenovo to anybody….any student in Indian institute of science, Bangalore.
    There is no any update available for the DVD writer at lenovo website…..
    Please don’t purchase laptop from lenovo it is not giving any software with it ……lenovo is fake company no customer care………be careful…..tell to others also please, it is very serious matter for students... say no to “lenovo”……they r exploiting and selling the big “IBM name”

    Please suggest us the solution.
    It's a good model overall but the writer has let it down. I am having the same problem even after changing it once.       sir, i purchased one laptop y 500 from lenovo india after ten months there was some problem in the L C D OF my laptop i lodged my complaint with the company company told me to approach there service center in dehradun they replaced my lcd
      but when after two days when i went thru laptop the back cover of it was missing i complaint to there customer care but of not any use its totally harassement of these mnc's of indian customers pls look into the matter and pls help me out of this problem.regards

        I purchased my Laptop model refered in Product name i.e. 7761-4EQ ( Part No. EB1708021 S.No. EB[protected] purchased in Sept 2007.

        Problem : DVD Writer does not recognise most of DVDs / CDs specially DVD-RWs, DVD-R's, CD-Rs

        Problem Since August 2008.

        Unable to visit any service centre of Lenovo in India as out of India. By the time I come to India Warranty will be over.

        Laptop does not have USB Booting facility.

        I have not recived the free gift as promised to me at the time of purchase.

        Selling showrooms (Authorised for Lenovo only) do not care but to send the customers to contact service centres.

        Feed-back from Lenovo Forum : more than 50% Lenovo users face the same problem. Lenovo do not have a solution to the problem, as a result user do get proper attention. Specially who can not contact lenovo service centres as Lenovo do not have a electronic complaint registring process.

        I am sending my comments here to Inform community to be aware of facts before purchasing lenovo products.

        I am unsure of getting free service for the unavoidable reason of being abroad.

            i bought a Lenovo laptop Model No n-7757 Part No- R3N[protected]
            Serial No- EB07631877, 62Q on June 2008 from a shop called Datamation in Guwahati, Assam.
            Though before bying i was told that the laptop is having configuration of 1GB RAM and 160 GB HDD but after i bought it and bought it home i found that the total herd disk memory i was given is 130GB.
            Given the fact that the Operating System takesup 2GB of memory space and the disk partitioning takes maximum upto 1GB space, i should have recieved my memory having atleast 155GB.
            but i jst have 129GB as my memory space.
            SO i think either i have been cheated on my Memory or they partioned it wrongly which now they refuse to acknowledge.
            so in this regard i wud seriously wish to lodge a sincere complain owing the fact that my laptop cost me Rs.41500 to be exact.
            Kindly take up the matter at the earliest.

              I have purchased Lenovo laptop Y-410 series two months ago on dated 30.06.08. During the purchasing they told me you will received one antivirus software with this laptop. After purchasing the seller told me, just you registered your product on line and within seven day you will receive the link and you can download easily free of cost the K-7 anti-virus.                 The Laptop gets heated up. It becomes so hot I feel irritated putting my hands on the laptop. Putting my laptop on my lap is out of question.

                Moreover the body is half black and half Nevy Blue.

                Even my CD drive doesn't function properly. The CDs I am able to watch on a desktop gets hang again and again on my newly purchased lenevo.

                Appreciate if somebody can address these problems. I am reachable at +91 [protected].

                Lenovo — Default Machine sold

                I have brought lenovo machine G560 serial no CBQ3729097 on 19 Jan 2011 from Chrome ,Pune at 5:37 PM.. From 1st day ,the laptop unexpectedly shutdown after 10-15 minutes. I made a telephonic complained to lenovo customer care and I was provided with reference no [protected] and lenovo executive told me to take machine to service center.I brought it to Service center on 21 Jan at law college road,Pune and i was told that motherboard is defective and it needs to be replaced.I was not provided with any service report as i had complained through phone and executive told me same reference no will be valid for this complained.

                i emailed lenovo warranty care about the issue and told them to provide me a brand new laptop as the existing one is defective machine. and i dont want replacemnt of motherboard in my existing machine. I had emailed them scanned copy of my invoice number also.

                They provide me a new reference number 5082745 and told me tey will get back to me in 2 days. I again tried to email them and call them but got no proper response every time they said concerned person will give you a call but i've not recived any call regarding this .
                I'm totally frustrated by calling lenovo warranty care again and again and require your help to resolve this issue and provide me with a new laptop.

                My ref. [protected]...When i way buying my laptop i was told that i will get windows 7 home premium but when i purchased the unit and open the box at my home i found it is windows 7 home basic .......and i am quite unhappy because the store guy gave me wrong information and i was asked to contact tech support for further assistance ....'
                , now i also called in tech support many time and one guy told me that he is going to send a technician at my home to get the o/s replaced ...but when i called in 2nd and the 3rd time they keep on transferring me to different deptt. and every other person is giving different opinion and answer to my question ,,,,i want to know when the o/s of computer will be replaced ....i also got a mail staying that contact consumer deptt. when i called then the lady from there told that it is to the correct deptt. to deal with this issue ...i m really tired and unhappy with this kind of support, and this put a very wrong impersonation for the technical support or the the other people those work with the true heart because of some guys other technician also get bed impersonation, i m really upset and i have in home or on site support a tech should come to replace that ASAP...or else i will never buy leneovo or IBM product in my life

                  when the cd is inserted some external force is to be applied and at the time of ejecting the cd has to be pulled out.i had also lost the switch in the cd drive.
                  Even my CD drive doesn't function properly. The CDs I am able to watch on a desktop gets hang again and again on my newly purchased lenevo.

                    I bought my laptop in june 2007 from Shakti Infotech Traders, Hazaribagh, after 6 months I started noticining that battery back up is decreased. I went to the person from whom I bought it because only he could sent it to the service centre which is only in Jamshedpur which is quite far.
                    But that seller just harassed me and didnot sent my complain in service centre. I also contacted customer care but it was also of no use. Now my warranty period has crossed and my battery backup is only 12 an hour. Now that seller is demanding money for battery replacement, why should I pay for replacement when my complaint was not registered.
                    Please help in replacing my battery free of cost as it is not my fault as there is no service centre in our town.Otherwise it will give me a bad experience and I will not suggest people to buy Lenovo laptop.

                    I had purchase the Lenova laptop. I also firmly believe that the life of lenova laptop batteries are very less which makes lots of inconvieniece. Infact I noticed battery back up is decreased within six months. which was subsequently replaced. Again replaced battery start showing the same sign of deteriotion within six months and got deterioted completely within 9 months. This untimely sign of deteriotion lead to subsequent complaint and request for replacement of battery to higher authority without any positive result. This has given me very bad experience and can suggest people not to buy Lenovo laptop as one can buy good quality laptop with same amount with good services than Lenova.
                    i have also purchased lenovo laptop from jamshedpur in march 2007 and the battery was completely dead in may 2008 and i could not get a new battery anywhere and warranty was also over.
                    i am facing a big problem due to this. the battery is not giving a single second back up.

                    i will advise everybody not to purchase lenovo laptops.

                      I have purchased a Lenovo 3000 Y500 Laptop, Serial No MA-6NR8R, Model No 77614EQ, P/N No - R3PY37916912 during Sep 2007.
                      There is no disply of DVD Hardware Drive so it is problem occured that, the DVDis not working and Disk does not access in computer that means no disk found error . You are requested to look in to the matter and send your rep to correct the problem.

                      i purchased my laptop in oct 07.since than my dvd writer has stopped working for several times.i got it replace 2 times during the warranty period.last time i got it replace in august 08.but now again it has stopped working.n my laptop is also out of warranty.its reading dvd but not cd.and its not writing cd or dvd.please help.
                      I have purchase a lenovo y500 laptop before years my dvd writer is only read original cd/dvd and not read all cd/dvd. i tell my problem to lenovo distributor he try to clean lens by lens cleaner dvd. but it is not working please tell me a solution of this problem on e mail- er.[protected]@gmail.com

                        I have a lenovo laptop which is out of warranty. Its internet connectivity through wired LAN was not working so I submitted the laptop to IBM kolkata service centre at L&T Towers, Camac Street, Kolkata. They took a draft money of Rs. 1684/- which they told as non-refundable but at least I was assured that my laptop is in safe and able hands and soon enough I could get it working. Its to be mentioned here that I am a b.tech student of IIT Guwahati and I come from a humble background. The laptop was on an educational loan. After 3-4 days of their investigation they told me the cost of repairing is Rs. 21000 as the motherboard needs to be changed. I asked if some alternative repairs could be made or do they have any sugesstion about how to make the LAN working, they plainly said 'no' even after I told them that I am a mere student. I withdrew the laptop and started looking up at other shops where I found a simple hardware device costing only Rs. 350 and my problem was solved.
                        This is how IBM a.k.a lenovo in Indian market robbed me of Rs. 1684 without giving me any service. If they say that we can not possibly investigate for free, then I expect some sort of solution to my problem in return of my payment. They made the rules of advanced non-refundable servicing charge and by this means they are robbing the Indian markets.

                        We can not let them carry on like this... CAN WE ?

                          Hi I have purchase my lenevo laptop in patna 6 month back, I have already charge 8 hour perday to lenevo y series but my laptop is giving only 30 to 35 minutes back up only i am fed up with this problem.I use to visit your local service center at SP VERMA ROAD, PATNA AND BYTE SHOPEE CDA BUILDING.But no one given me proper response.

                              I bought Lenovo Y[protected]Q a 2 years back and My DVD Rom was replaced a year back due to erroneous disc reading, but just after 5 months it was replaced the same problem continued even with the newly replaced DVD Rom. The Rom Provided with Lenovo Laptops are not a good product and there customer service is also not satisfied. I have paid a lot of money for this Laptop but this quality of output is pathetic compared to other competitor like Dell, Apple and Sony product, atleast these product are costly and have a good satisfaction.

                              It is time for Lenovo to rethink on their customer servicing policies. or get ready to be DOOMED !!!

                                i have purchased a lenovo Y500 laptop in 22nd september 2007 and i had dvd writer proble that i have solve with the help of lenovo sevice center but now i have another problem that about my laptops battery life it gives only 1 hour back up after being fully charged .i plug off it after it becomes fully charged every time i charge it but the problem is still; i face this problem since 2 m onths before

                                LENOVO / IBM — DEFECTIVE LAPTOP/ POOR SERVICE

                                I am Sarode Pradeep purchased the lenovo (B40 model[protected] laptop computer from KLASSY Computers Kothrud on 30 june 2010 within 1 and half month there was problem.now we are perceiving that only defective product being sold.

                                We submitted the complain to Klassy on 4 th august and thereafter we lodged the case under supervision of Klassy by case I'd [protected] On 8 th August 2010.

                                Till date we are not getting the proper response from anyone.From Klassy i received number of mr narendra (Asst sales manager) who was aware of the case and one of responsible executive of lenovo but yesterday when we phoned to mr.Narendra evening surprised with his remarks that Laptop is not with him and you have to contact the service department.


                                Since last wk I am being given to understand that it ie under testing . Really I am not able to understand that what a high tech testing is this ?

                                As I have purchased this laptop for presentation of my sons for Bpharm exam and due to delay from lenova end the whole purpose got defeated . I really not expected this type of poor service from the company like LENOVA./IBM

                                I Requested Mr Narenda, Assistant sales manger for expediting the repairing of my laptop since last 3 days he promised that he will issue the credit note but on 2/8/2010 at about 6.25 pm he refused to give any help and told that you have not purchased the same from ME and if you want you can complaint against LENOVO

                                This is cheating done by Mr Narendra as he only had sent the laptop to Klassy in front o[censored]s. and promised every time to Klassy computer that he will look in matter.

                                If in reputed company like lenovo /IBM no one care for customer how one can reliable for their products.

                                Almost month is completed neither the service center nor the sales person concern about customer satisfaction.

                                Lenovo India / IBM — Delivered defective laptop

                                To whom so ever it may concern,

                                A laptop by two big brands, Lenovo and IBM, has very efficiently managed to tarnish their reputation in my eyes. Not only have these brands rubbished their own claims of “customer service” but they slashed their own credibility as multinational brands. Not the kind of behavior that you would expect from such brands after they have taken away one’s laptop and refuse to fix it and send it back. There is no internal co-ordination between the two brands. As an alert consumer, I have taken the time to simultaneously follow-up on both the brands and surprisingly both their stories regarding my laptop’s service don’t match.

                                This recent ordeal began barely two months after I received a serviced laptop with a new motherboard and screen. On May 28th again my laptop malfunctioned and the service guy confirmed that the screen needed to be replaced. Optimistically I gave away the laptop and was promised a return on 31st May. Today, a mere change of screen has been snowballed into another enormous problem. The dire line every customer cringes to hear, “Mam, there is a problem with your motherboard so we will have to replace that as well.”

                                May I ask, how does a two-month old motherboard start to fail? What kind of second hand, depleted motherboard did these guys insert when it was repaired in March? How obvious can their delinquencies get! If they mentioned somewhere on the box that in Lenovo we will make your customers utter fools, probably I wouldn’t have brought it. One could probably find god, but getting in touch with Lenovo or IBM on the other end of a phone line is impossible. Firstly, contact numbers mentioned on their corporate website don’t work and if at all you do manage to get through to someone, they will merely keep you on hold for hours but never transfer your call to their seniors. IBM on the other hand tops the list because when I was at my wits end and threatened the IBM customer service guy with a consumer court complaint, he said, “Yes, go ahead.”

                                As you can see I have taken his “go ahead” very seriously and fired away on my first leg of bad-mouthing the two companies. It is preposterous that the two companies would make any customer run around in circles to only get the service he paid for. This step-motherly treatment has got out the devil in me. If we customers don’t buy your brands, let me tell you, you will probably end up in shambles. As an irate customer, I wouldn’t recommend these two brands to any soul, unless and until the latter gets some cheap thrill in getting into Lenovo and IBM’s shenanigans. Another revelation, my laptop is still under a warranty period, it is not even a year old! So imagine if this were to happen after that, perhaps I would have to bury it six feet deep.

                                Vishwa, Customer-service, IBM (The go ahead guy)

                                Gopi, technical guy, IBM (Showed some kind of interest but nothing materialized)

                                I got a Lenovo G505s (purchased from U.S.) as a gift from a relative. The laptop worked fine for the first six months, but started giving a lot of problems since January. Following are the details.Nature o[censored]se:The laptop is used mostly at home.Used for hardly 1-2 hours everyday.It hasn&#039;t been used while travelling or when out of station.It&#039;s used mostly for Internet surfing, light gaming, and regular personal use.It&#039;s been used all this while with the pre-installed Windows 8 (upgraded to 8.1).The Problem:(After smooth functioning for six months)The first thing I noticed was a clicking sound around the hinge area while opening and closing the lid.Secondly, a couple of keys on the keyboard were hard to press.Windows 8.1 after a regular update failed to go past the login screen.The laptop began overheating and turned off very frequently.Trips to the Service Center:As the laptop is covered under International Warranty, I took it to the nearby service center on Senapati Bapat road Pune. The service executive, adrressed my problem as I told him about the hinge and the keyboard issue (the OS and overheating problem wasn&#039;t present then). He checked the specs of my laptop, filled a form with all the details including but not limited to the memory, hdd capacity, serial number, and collected equipment. I handed the laptop over to him. He said he&#039;ll have to order the keyboard from Lenovo, and also informed me that the hinge problem would not be covered under regular 1 year warranty. This is because it is not an internal part, and is only covered under an accidental warranty plan (which my laptop wasn&#039;t covered under).I requested him to replace the keyboard as soon as he received a new one, and give me a call once it was done. I also enquired about replacing the hinge part, to which he said that I had to replace the entire upper case of the laptop which would cost around rupees 5000. I was shocked upon hearing this, and denied to repair the hinge at that moment. The laptop has never been dropped or roughly handled, still this issue. I denied to pay, and asked him to simple get the keyboard replaced for time being. He agreed.After a 4 day wait, I got the keyboard replaced. I collected the laptop, and checked the keyboard, which was fortunately functioning properly. A few days later, Windows showed up an update, and downloaded it. The update required a restart to be completely installed, so I restarted the computer. Windows showed the status o[censored]pdate post restart. However, after successfully installing the update, when I tried logging in using my Microsoft password, it simple showed the rotating icon, and didn&#039;t actually login at all.That&#039;s when I visited the service center the second time. I discussed the problem with the service executive, who readily agreed to fix the problem but informed me that this too wasn&#039;t covered under warranty, and would be chargeable. I paid rupees 500 to get the OS reinstalled. I got the laptop 2 days later, without the drivers. I was frustrated, and told the service executive that I would install them myself.I took the laptop home, installed the wireless network driver, and opened Internet Explorer. The moment I typed in the address bar, the computer abruptly shut down. I booted it all over again, but it again shut down half way. I tried booting a couple of times more, but to no use. The next day, I revisited the service center (took a half day from office), and notified them about the new issue. They said, it might be the heat fan this time which created the problem. I also said that the laptop was working fine before, but the service representative didn&#039;t show any concern. He asked me to submit the laptop once again, and said he would install the drivers and order a heat fan from Lenovo.Also, I noticed that Windows activation failed. This meant that it wasn&#039;t a genuine Windows 8 which was preinstalled. I communicated this as well to the service executive. But he said, as the laptop was purchased from the US, the OS cannot be restored in India (for which I was charged Rupees 100). I argued but to no use. The laptop remained in the service center for two weeks. There was no feedback or response from the service center. I had to call several times to enquire, to which I always got the response, &quot;Sorry sir the part (heat fan) isn&#039;t here yet, we&#039;ll inform you once it&#039;s received&quot;.The next day I visited the service center, and collected my laptop. I told them to inform me once the part had arrived. It&#039;s been two days since I&#039;ve done this. I tried the toll free helpline, but the people there seem more like counsellors, and only try to console you.If anybody actually responds to complaints posted here. Please ensure that my complaint is considered.

                                  i purchased a lenovo laptop on op 25 july 2008 and within 10 days of purchasing the laptop there was a dispaly problem and on 15 july we complained in the service centre and they told us that there is problem in the lcd cable and that neds to be replcaced and till today it has not been resolved

                                  i want to question the quality standard of lenovo an international statndard comapny that there quqlity test are so efficent that the product faces a problem withn a week .

                                  i warn the lenovo comapny as a awhole if the action is not taken within aweek . we will be bound to take leagal action against the management and company as a whole, and all the charges will be borned by the company

                                  we would only request you to replace our laptop at the earliest

                                    I had bought a lenovoY410 notebook on 26th July 2008.From there onwards the audio dj function is not responding.Is extra speakers are needed for the working of it?Also some weeks before the RAM got complaint.Now its the warranty period for it.so can i replace that RAM to a new one?I am waiting for your suitable reply to this.

                                      i purchased Lenovo 3000 y 410 this year january 2008.i was assured of gift PHILIPS MP3 Player along with laptop.but since past 11 months i being enquiring about my gift but nothing was given except assurance that they will give me in few weeks.. this saying few weeks passed to 11 months but i did not get my gift..                                       When I insert CDs or DVDs in my DVD writer and starts reading the CDs or DVDs, it creates sound which increases constently.The sound is like that something inside is misplaced and they creates the sound.
