Lenovo — Even after 75% parts replaced in my new laptop , laptop is not working proper need a repalcement

Respected Sir/Madam,

I, Bhaskar Goswami, a resident o[censored]daipur, Rajasthan, am lodging this serious complaint against Lenovo India Pvt. Ltd. for selling me a defective laptop that has failed repeatedly since purchase. Within just one month o[censored]se, the system began showing major issues, and within 3-4 months, around 75% of its internal components have been replaced.
Date of purchased : 21-june-2025

Despite continuous failures and repeated service interventions, Lenovo has refused to replace the product and and instead indirectly pressured me to purchase an extended warranty for future support—knowing well that the product is already defective due to multiple hardware replacements.

Below is a detailed timeline of the issues and repairs:

26 July 2025 – Ticket No. [protected]
Issue: Beep sound and repeated system crash
Action: Windows reinstalled and SSD replaced on 2 August 2025. The old SSD (which contained event logs proving the defect existed from day one) was taken away by Lenovo. Resolution time exceeded one month./

3 August 2025 – Ticket No. [protected]
Issue: System crash and beep sound reoccurred just one day after SSD replacement.
Action: Motherboard replaced (first time)./

10 August 2025 – Ticket No. [protected]
Issue: Earthing and charging issue.
Action: Charger/Adapter replaced./

14 September 2025 – Ticket No. [protected]
Issue: Mouse cursor stuck, touchpad not functioning properly.
Action: Keyboard and touchpad replaced. (The issue was present since day one, but I initially prioritized the crash issue.)/

3 October 2025 – Ticket No. [protected]
Issue: Laptop not booting (“No POST” issue).
Action: Motherboard replaced (second time). Requested multiple time on mail even escalated to there service head about replacement //

But just after 2 days of replacement of motherboard another issue triggered .the system is still not functioning properly. The screen intermittently turns black, Microsoft Office crashes frequently, and the laptop overheats.
New ticket recently logged "[protected]" Even after all these repairs, A new ticket for these issues is currently under progress and Lenovo’s suggestion to “reset and then reinstall Windows” again is exactly the same approach they took when the first issue was reported on 26 July 2025, which later led to multiple confirmed hardware failures., and all supporting evidence has already been provided to Lenovo.
to do so i have to invest another full day and then 2 -3 days for full setup as everything need to install and setup laptop for working.

It is clear that this laptop was defective from day one. Repeated hardware failures in such a short span show that the product is unreliable and unfit for purpose.

This constant cycle of failures and repairs has caused severe mental harassment, loss of productivity, and wastage of time. I have never been able to use this laptop peacefully for even a single day without encountering a problem. My weekends and holidays have been spent scheduling repair visits, coordinating with engineers, and following up with customer care instead o[censored]sing the product for my work.

Summary of Replaced Components:

Motherboard – 2 times

SSD – 1 time

Keyboard – 1 time

Touchpad – 1 time

Charger/Adapter – 1 time

Windows installation – multiple times

Applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) – repeatedly malfunctioning

RAM, AMD Processor, and Ports (USB, Type-C, Power button) – indirectly replaced with each motherboard replacement

My Requests:

1.) I request the Honourable Consumer Forum to direct Lenovo to replace my defective laptop with a brand-new, defect-free unit or issue a full refund of the purchase amount.

2.) I further request the Forum to take strict action against Lenovo for selling defective products and mentally harassing Indian consumers. Such companies should be banned from selling products in India if they continue to exploit customers through manipulative warranty policies and poor-quality manufacturing and investigate Lenovo’s unethical service practices,

I have repeatedly requested Lenovo to act responsibly and abide by the Consumer Protection Act, but they have continuously ignored genuine concerns and have not honored my basic right to receive a functional product.

I place my full faith in the Honourable Consumer Forum to deliver justice and protect consumer rights.

Thanking you,
Bhaskar Goswami
