Lenovo G5070 — Irresponsible support | |
Hi, i bought my lenovo laptop g5070 in october 2014. Soon after i bought the laptop i started facing some keyboard issues. I did not use my laptop much initially, so got to know about the problem only in around march, april 2015. The problem was that after few minutes of my using the laptop, the keys would start behaving abnormally. If i press 'a', the entire thing would get selected (Ctrl+a), and some randow windows would start opening. So i talked to lenovo support, they asked about the full description for some 4-5 times and then asked me to reboot the laptop and apply some tactics. I asked them to pick my laptop as the service centre was quite far but they said that only after i have followed their instructions thoroughly and checked it by myself and that they are assured that there is actually some issue with my laptop, that they can come to pick it. The warranty on my laptop would expire in october 2015, so i decided to give my laptop to the service centre guys in person. The service centre near kemp fort mall, bangalore. They kept my laptop for a few days and then said that the os was corrupt. They will get me the windows 8.1 os (Genuine) when we give them 2000 rupees. I decided to take my laptop to my home town instead and there i got to know that the keyboard was faulty. By this time my warranty period had expired and i had deleted my genuine os because of the service centre guys. So i had to buy new keyboard after which my laptop is working well. Its showing lots of issues, the time its showing is changing many times a day
moreover, the apps are getting closed after every call i make.
