Dear Nitin Sir,
I am writing to request your urgent intervention regarding a failed order and unprocessed refund on the Lenovo India website.
I made a UPI payment of ₹65, 951 on 19/06/2025 at 10:01 PM via PhonePe to purchase a Lenovo LOQ laptop (Model: 83GS00LFIN). The payment was successful, but the order was not placed, and I have not received any refund till date.
Your team later provided me with this refund reference: **BIC5B840O02KKO1**
Please note carefully: the **second last character is the letter 'O', not the digit zero.**
I contacted:
- **Razorpay** (your payment partner) – they confirmed this is **not their reference ID**.
- **My bank** – they confirmed it is **not a valid UPI RRN or bank UTR**.
- **Lenovo support** – they asked me to contact the bank again with this invalid ID, which my bank cannot trace.
So far:
- No valid refund has been issued
- No valid traceable reference has been provided
- I have no product or money
This issue has remained unresolved for over 5 days, causing both financial and mental distress. Therefore, I request the following within **48 hours**:
1. A **real UPI refund RRN** or **bank UTR number**, so my bank can trace the refund
**OR**
2. A **new refund issued immediately** to my UPI ID, along with a valid reference ID
If this issue is not resolved, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter to:
- NPCI (upi.[protected]@npci.org.in)
- RBI Ombudsman (cms.rbi.org.in)
- And consumer grievance channels
Please help me resolve this urgently. I am attaching my payment proof and screenshots for your reference.
