Lenovo — Vibe x3 - mobile problem unresolved.

I have purchased Lenovo Vibe x3 mobile(IMEI - [protected], 821) through Amazon on 15th March 2016 where mobile warranty is one year and all accessories warranty is 6 months. with in 3 months, The charger is not working . The mobile shows as charging but mobile was not charging whereas I am able to use different chargers to charge the mobile without any problem . It clearly means that the charger has some problem.

I went to service center in Jayanagar 4th Block, Banagalore with in six months after purchase, the executive says that USB cable is the problem and it won't be covered under warranty and only adapter covers in warranty whereas the warranty card clearly shows that the charger is covered 6 months warranty. If I am not wrong, The charger is combination of Adapter and USB cable. They didn't replace the USB cable . So they charged Rs 240.00 for replacing the USB cable instead of giving at free of cost . Because, the USB cable is in perfect condition without any damages and it is not charging for some reason.

Also, My Mobile is in perfect working condition and they asked me to leave the mobile in service center to check the problem either in mobile or in charger. they took my phone for not lasting the battery not even one day and told me there is liquid damage where my mobile never fell in water . But, they have taken service charge of Rs 173.00 considering out of warranty mobile and for cable replacement rs 67 totalling 240 rupees. Also, told me that If the phone goes dead, no responsibility by the service center.

Firstly, I was not supposed to charge for USB cable replacement as the charger is with in the warranty and service center informed that USB cable I dont know why is USB cable is not part of charger ??.
Secondly, How the phone is considered as liquid damage when it is working perfectly and never fell down or fell in water not sure if you have given damaged piece. Even then, it was supposed to be free service during the warranty period when buying the expensive phones as my mobile cost is 20, 000 . But I was charged Rs 173.00 just for taking the phone with out any service.

Third and more importantly, the service center has to take the responsibility while repairing the service with in one year irrespective of damage as it should be fixed as their responsibility.

Finally- Due to charger problem, The mobile was charged with different mobile charger which screwed the life of the battery should be compensated. Right now, My mobile is hanging and getting heated and battery not lasting at least half a day with in a year of purchase.

If you can't resolve it, Kindly direct me to escalate this issue to the concerned forum/court or let us know email id's of top management.

If this is not resolved with in two business days, I have all the proofs and will sue the Lenovo for the same.I have attached all documents ( Invoice copy, warranty copy, service request form, USB cable purchase copy ) as required for your reference.

I can provide the any necessary documents if required.

I would appreciate your response in this regard.

I have raised this query to lenovo customer care twice, but both the times they have given different solutions which are not satisfactory.

First they told me that they will provide free service to the mobile but cable has to be charged
second time, they told cable will be provided at free of cost and the mobile will be serviced on chargable basis.

There is no consistency in the reply also . Right now, I am suffering with mobile not functioning properly.

Need a resolution.

I have received multiple emails later that they are looking in to it once in a blue moon. After few months they replied that they will provide the service on chargeable basis as my mobile considered by they as damaged.

I am using the mobile from more than 1 year 4 months. I never had any problem than low battery back up. They have not resolved the issue with chargeable repair also two times.. If the mobile is damaged, I wouldn't have able to use it without any issue this long..

They have given low quality product and worst service from lenovo on top of it.. I request for personal investigation and need compensation for this .

Kindly do the needful.
