Lenovo — Warranty mismatch

I brought laptop yesterday on 1 October when i opened laptop after sometime i come to know that warranty was activated 9 months ago even if i brought laptop yesterday. i don't why this happened to me but this type of hospitality is not good according to my purchase i should get warranty for 1 year but i have only 3 months. Kindly respond to me I mean very depressed.
