[Resolved] Lenskart — "no accountability" on product quality or service | |||||
This is my first ever consumer complaint and i feel compelled to do so. Summarising in one world. Lenskart experience has been is "tacky" I may not know about glasses that well, but the team at lenskart do not know their "craft" for sure, both for product and service. Narrating my first experience @ lenskart indiranagar 100 ft road, bangalore. 1) i went to lenskart looking for a frame to fit my rayban wayfarer lenses. I was suggested to buy a "vincent" frame by the sales staff and since they didn't have a ready colour option, they ordered it online from the store itself for me. I was asked to come back once the frame arrived, so that they could fit the glasses for me then and there. This was the first week of august. Order placed on:[protected] items: 1 Order id: [protected] Product id : 122193 I was pleasantly surprised, how fast they could give me a solution. But, it was short lived. 2) i was first told to come back between 14th-15th aug, but eventually after multiple phone follow ups, my frames arrived by the end of the next week. I went to the store to get the glasses fit then and there (As agreed by the lenskart sales staff.). But as soon as they saw the lens and the frame they figured that they can't fit it then and there. They requested me to wait for 1 more week, so that they can send this to the workshop and have it fixed (They also told me how frames are manufactured by robotic ways, its a ticky process etc.. Etc...). I trusted their logic and left my ray-ban lenses with them and asked them to deliver as soon as its done. Requested them to inform me once its done. 3) no one bothered to call and inform and again. Absolutely 0 accountability. I made multiple calls to ask them about the same. They very conveniently tell me, maam its not a 100 percent fit. (I had run out of patience by then, told them, please return my lenses and arrange for a refund.) 4) to my surprise they deliver my lens (Trackily force fitted onto the vincent frame with glue!!!), something we didn't discuss on... And deliver @ home, when i am not around. I was amazed to see that they feel they can pull off such tackiness???. "who attaches an expensive lens with glue",, i called back immediately and asked them to take their frame back immediately. That was almost two weeks back!!! I am still waiting for them to pick their frame up! And refund. I also reminded them twice to take back their merchandise! They are behaving as if they are doing us a favour! This is my first and definitely last experience with lenskart! And would request any one, who is new to "buying glasses or frames" not to waste their time and energy with this brand. (I spent over 35 k @ gkb for proper set of glasses and i still wonder, why i chose lenskart as an option to explore! Was this information helpful? | |||||
