[Resolved]  Lenskart — No service for the new product which got damaged from customer executive's side.

I ordered a new eye glass on 31st Oct 2021 from Lenskart, Padivattom, Kochi. The total cost was Rs.2594. I took a subscription also the same day.

I received the product on 12th Nov. Few days later I observed that the right side screw loosened and on 10th Dec I went to the lenskart showroom at Oberon mall, Kochi which was near to my residence. I told them my concern and they tried different screws and at last said they couldn't find the exact matching screw for my product and I'll have to contact the same showroom from where I bought my glass. So, immediately I went to the Padivattom showroom and explained the whole thing to them and gave the product for service. They checked my glass and found out that the Oberon staff had damaged the screw's thread. They said they will repair the product otherwise I'll have to replace the product. They told me that they'll contact me once the product issue is resolved. But I didn't receive any update till 13th Dec. On 13th Dec night I went to the showroom again and enquired about it. They said the product can't be serviced and I'll have to replace it. The same frame was not available for replacement at that time. So they said I have to choose another frame. So I handovered the glass which I'm using and chose another frame (which I didn't like, but was forced to) and asked them to try to replace it with the same frame that I was using. They said he'll update me.

But till 17th Dec I didn't get any call from Padivattom showroom. So I went there again. The executive said that he forgot to call me and the same product is no longer available since they have stopped manufacturing it. They could have at least informed me of the progress. I have had a severe headache and vision problem since the day I handovered the product to him. Within one month of purchase, the product got damaged and that too was not because of my mistake but from the lenskart executive's mistake.

They don't have a service for the product and replacement for the same product?

What I understood from the showroom executive's attitude is that they don't have any responsibility towards this. Anyhow the loss is only for me.
