Lenskart continues to prove repeatedly that they are a fraud company with cheap products and young, ignorant, hapless staff - duping customers with their hyper online marketing techniques.
I have written a complaint earlier in their facebook page. Lenskart didn't accept my Gold Membership card and tried to shun me off saying that the credit points lapsed. However, after putting my complaint here, finally, they have agreed to utilize my credit points.
I placed an order for two spectacles in the month of Oct 2021. Out of the two glasses, only one was ready on time and the other took more than a month to deliver. I collected both together in the month of November 2021. Within 2 months, the glass of one of the spectacles (progressive glass with photochromatic) got CHIPPED OFF from inside. Today I approached the BEL Road (Opp. Ramaiah Hospital), Bangalore showroom with my concern.
First, they tried to give the excuse that (1) the guarantee period is over. When I explained to them that there was a delay of 45 days from their side in delivering the item, they said (2) "chipping of glass" is NOT under the guarantee conditions.
I am using glasses for the last 20 years and this is the first time, I am facing a problem where the glass is chipped off (that again from the inner side). This is purely a manufacturing mistake whereby substandard material was used.
I need the defective glass to be replaced free of cost...
