On 1st January 2023. I visited the Lal Quarter Krishna Nagar Store in Delhi.
The power was taken from previous specs and also the lady optometrist did the eye test. And I had already updated the salesperson that I shall be travelling abroad within a few days and I need the specs on time. I was promised that Lenskart provides 3 days guarantee else, there shall be vouchers given out.
And then after all the things like selecting the high end JJ specs and everything, the person taking the order filled in wrong details about the power. Added cylindrical power as plus (+), while it should have been minus(-). And mind you, I had ordered the fully loaded blue cut lenses, which are the costliest on their shop.
I received the specs on 04.01 as promised and I flew from India on 06.01 early morning. After coming back to my place (in Europe), when I started using my laptop with the new specs, I figured something is wrong with my new specs.
And now facing problem for getting replacement. Tried international calls to their support team. The team in Lal Quarter did not even bother to pick up the phone.
I need to live with wrong specs coz apparently even after telling lenskart support team about a friend of mine coming next week from India, they are not willing to send another pair of specs to him. I had even promised to Lenskart support team that I shall return the current ones to them when I am in India the next time. I have no use for the current specs anyways.
