[Resolved] Lenskart — took 8 days to ship an order, finally got defective product | |||||
I ordered specs for my wife on 11 july. The website showed that i can opt for express delivery for extra 99. I chose the express delivery and uploaded the prescription for eye power from asg eye hospital. Next day i got the email that they can not provide the order on express delivery as they do not have one lens in store. They told me that they will ship the lens once they receive it and they will process the order soon. Next day i got the call that it is not possible to have glasses with power -12 and cylinder 0.50. I was surprised as my wife's power are -2.25 and -2.50, why they are telling that they do not have the lens with power 12. I asked that lenskart guy to review the picture of the power i submitted, he then told it was their mistake and the power has been corrected. I wondered, if the power of -12 with cylinder 0.50 were possible, they would have sent that. Finally, after asking every day to send the ordered soon, they shipped the ordered yesterday which i got today on 18. When i opened the package and she tried them on, we were again surprised to see that the specs are irregular, one temple is up and one down. I am now asked to visit lenskart store to resolve the issue. Also, they are not sure if it will be repaired or replaced at the store. They are saying that if the issue is not resolved at the store, you can replace the specs or opt for a refund. Now, i have already spent 8 days waiting for the product and when i receive it, i had to go to a store to get it repaired. And if the product issue can't be repaired at the store, then if i ask for the replacement, i will have to wait another 8 days for that. And who knows that they will send a good item this time. If i ask for the refund, i will have to get the specs through a shop, which i could have done on the day of ordering through lenskart. All the time i wasted on lenskart waiting for the product is wasted. In all this, they only mistake i did was that i trusted lenskart and ordered through it. Before putting the complaint here, i thought i am the only person having problems with lenskart but after reading other complaints, i came to know that many people have the same experience with lenskart. I am hoping that i get the issue resolved at the store tomorrow. Was this information helpful? | |||||
