I purchased the said tv in jun 2011. The tv went blank a few days ago. The lg technician visited & said that the motherboard needs to be changed. He also placed an order for the same after checking on some website. A few days ago, someone from the service centre called and said that the part is not available. They said that the support for the tv is only for five years and that i'll have to buy a new tv. I wonder what kind of customer support is this after having shelled out close to rs. 45, 000 for the tv. Does lg expect a customer to change his tv every five years, when everything else is fine with it other than the motherboard?
