28/05/2020 LG Air Conditioner purchased from Shah's Annanagar for 39, 000
7/7/2020 No cooling and gas filled at site by the LG Technician
28/1/2021 Again no cooling; this time around LG's authorized service center took the Indoor unit, outdoor unit and the copper pipe and checked all 3 as per LG protocol. No leak is what LG said. Refilled the gas and provided 180 days warranty for the service provided. No service charges as this comes under warranty. NOTE that the air conditioner was given back to me without identifying the actual issue.
4/2/2022 Raised a complaint that the outdoor unit is noisy; LG Engineer visited the site and confirmed that the AC is in excellent working condition.
11/3/2022 Raised a complaint that there is no cooling; LG Technician visited the site and confirmed that there is no gas in the AC. How did the gas leak out? Till date LG has not given me an answer.
#1 They have not acknowledged that they cannot find the leak because that would mean replacement/refund.
#2 Since they have not been able to identify the actual issue I am not willing to take the AC back.
#3 Once LG understood that I will not take the AC back they started negotiating with me; basically applying force to take the AC back with service charges.

- First offered to waive off certain charges, I did not agree
- Next 25% off the service charges and 90 days service warranty (note that 90 days service warranty is for the service and they give it to all customers; service warranty is from the service center not LG; Would all LG service centers honor this warranty?)
- Next 25% off service charges and 180 days service warranty
- Next no rebate on service charges but 2 year service warranty
