Worst customer service .
In my home most of the product purchased in lg .But the customer service is pathetic now .
I bought lg inverter ac just two and a half years ago and it was the top end in the segment . Usage was frequent in summer(only in night)
and moderate during the rest of the year.
All fine until 2 years and suddenly ac was not throwing cool air anymore. complaint registered in LG customer service
LG technician (name- munna)visited in chennai (12/05/22)and said gas is empty they need to refill the gas I asked to refill in home itself but technician said its LG policy we need to take product to their warehouse for gas refill. And he told gas refill + transportation around 4k to 5k They took both the units for refill and later from AK engineerg I received a call saying we need to replace with new coil so coil + gas refill + transportation = 17 k (75% of AC cost)
With moderate usage and within two years the LG people want to replace coil. How pathetic Now why would i go for a high-end lg a/c with a low-quality coil .when i can have other brands which are very cheaper than this. Samsung five-star ac bought at the same time working fine at home.
It looks like lg is doing a scam to loot its own customers. Not use with taking to (karthik -team lead) and (gnamuthu - service head) I am not the only one check out others pointing out the same issues in social medias air conditioner coils scam
I hope lg will look into this issue and resolve my issue at the earliest. Otherwise i will throw the ac infront of LG showroom
