LG India — Defective Google Nexus 5 phone screen

I bought a new Google LG Nexus 5 one month ago. The so-called "gorilla glass "screen is very fragile and breaks very easily. There are lots of complaints online about this. In the USA, Google replaces the phone free of cost when this happens in the USA. In India, LG charges Rs 7500 to replace the screen ( which has a manufacturing defect !)
