    Dear sir/madam,

    Mr.(Umesh servegar, s/o yallappa servegar)), (Policy number is[protected] passed away on (03-12-

    2013) all requested documents were submitted to the branch which is located in maharashtra on

    February 2014 and they assured that the cheque will be issued at the earliest. I contacted them

    Multiple times through the lic helpline & they confirmed that all documents have been received and

    Its proper and payment to the claimant (Mrs jyothi, w/o late umesh servegar) will be made within

    A week. The same reply was obtained on multiple occasions, however no payment has been received yet.

    It has been more than 10 months for now since the submission of the documents & was assured

    Payment in a week. Kindly look into this issue as the family of deceased is waiting for the payment

    And are in a pathetic situation to continue their livelihood. Hence i would request you to expedite

    The processing of claim and take necessary action to issue the payment at the earliest.

          This thread was extremely useful as I put the caller on hold and checked online for the authenticity. I too was initially duped into providing all my policy info to the lady Sonal who called mentioning the same bonus declaration and that 40% will go to my agent and rest only after maturity if I do not claim the same by verifying. I kept asking how they got my land line number as I have never mentioned in my LIC records, they said they had details from sources and gave me a docket number to prove they are genuine. Thankfully I got to know from all of you above that this is a fake scam racket, I scolded the lady, told her I am aware of their games, and disconnected the call. Prashaanth-Bangalore

I believe the online facility is for the convenience of the customers where nominal charges are justified but not charges like Rs 190. + S.T on payment above RS 25000 /.                   online thru credit card the convenience fees slab levied have changed and has become are very very high .Earlier it was max Rs.35/- + S.T. but now it has become Rs. 350/- + S.T. a sudden 10 times increase. I
                  believe the online facility is for the convenience of your company as well as of the customers
                  where nominal charges are justified but not such a hike in them, you are discouraging me to make online payment by making me pay such a heavy convenience fee where i guess many other insurance agencies don't even charge a single rupee to make premium payment online.


                  Request you to kindly look into the matter and revert .

                  Why is LIC charh=ging a convenience fee for online payments of premium? Hasn't the Government of India waived off such charges? We are yet to receive a response from LIC

                  I just paid premium online.To my surprise there is 80/- extra as convenience charge.I believe GOI waived off such charges.Hope there is positive response from LIC.
                  There should not be any extra fees for online transactions. Else everyone have to move back to cash transactions. Awaiting LICs reply

                          I had received a call from Priya Gupa from branch no.112 regarding my bonus amount of my policy no.[protected] DOC: 28/08/2002 on November 29th 2014 but till now nothing is been done about it.Mr Amit Rawat in the processing department made me take membership from Beyond Yatra Dreams Come Pvt. Ltd on urgent basis on the 29th November 2014 itself saying that if I dont have membership card my money will not get released.I hastily made my membership with Beyond Yatra Dreams Come Pvt Ltd even though it is of no use for me.Now when Im following up with the LIC Branch 112 they are giving me all sorts of reason.Im quietly bearing it.I want to know why LIC is harrassing people like this.That too poor people like us who are badly in need of money.How do you think they will be blessed by God.Please look into the matter and call on [protected]

                              Hi, I have been sanctioned loan by LIC HFL Whitefield. The LIC hasn't yet disbursed the amount neither to me nor the seller of the property. LIC HFL officers didn't even inform us about sanctioning of the loan or that they will start the charging the EMI. We were told once we send in all the documents they had asked, they will start the process. But we are yet to send the documents and they have already sanctioned the loan without disbursing the loan amount. But from 2nd Jan 2015, LIC has started charging interest and collecting money from my Bank account. This is totally unethical of LIC HFL to charge interest and EMI without disbursing the loan amount. LIC HFL Senior officers please look into this and help in getting this resolved as soon as possible. Regards, Varsha Bhat

                                      1. Xerox copies of loan kits documents were not delivered to me till date even though the loan was disbursed to me by the LIC HFL, Thane on[protected]. My loan A/c. No.[protected]. 2. Intimation letter about disbursement of loan which is to be submitted to the Registration Office, was also not provided to me till date. In this regard, I want to know who will be responsible if delay is occurred in submission of intimation letter to the Registration Office and from which date the delay will be counted by the Registration office, whether from the date of receiving of Intimation letter or from the date of disbursement of loan? How many period is given by the Registration office to submit the intimation letter about first disbursement of loan ? Please provide me all the above stated documents and reply of the above querry.
