Respected sir or madam,
I am Dr. Darshan M. Shah son of Mrs. Hansaben M. Shah a policy holder of LIC of India, having a health policy called jeevan Arogya of LIC of India Pol. No.[protected] since 2012.
In January 2022 my mother was diagnosed with malignancy( Cancer) in her uterus and hence for the operation. On 21 January 2022 I gave the intimation to branch no 13/857 LIC of India through my agent and admitted her on the same day to Zydus cancer center thaltej for her treatment.
She was operated for staging sugery / bilateral pelvic node dissection + umbilical hernia. In this process her uterus was removed under malignant condition.
I have submitted all the reports which are mentioned with her problem, disease and condition then. As per the brochure which I was given this surgery is covered under 60% of MSB. The MSB is 4, 00, 000. So she is entitled for rs. 2, 40, 000 but out of my surprice she was given only Rs 51, 200/- on 14/03/2022.
Since then I and my agent mrs. Mita N. shah are keep on writing to the health department for the justice. But nobody is responding to the same. The branch manager of 13/857 Mr. Amitkumar has also written in my favour, to the responsible person but all efforts went in wein. Moreover the mediclaim of my mother was with "United India insurance" company and was passed within a month only and have got the claim amount.
Sir, if the respectable company like LIC of India is not giving me the correct claim amount for my claim when I am there to fight, then I am wondering what would happen in case when I will not be there to receive the claim amount, what sort of difficulties my family will suffer at the time of the death claim under my policies?
Please do the needful and try to get me the justice.
